“As someone who does not speak much Italian, things went as smooth as they could have here. Staff was super kind and helped get us a ride to the airport. I enjoyed our room and loved the location. My girlfriend is an interior designer, who sought out somewhere authentic and not modern style. She was in love with the aesthetic. While there is not much to do at this location, minus the spa and upstairs bar/lounge area, it is right in the middle of the city. Seriously, a perfect location.

“The location was lovely and overall the hotel was a great choice . However I do feel that in some instances attention to detail was lacking : in the rooms - no replacement toilet rolls ; problems with no hot water for 2 of the 3 days we were there and no apology or explanation until it was raised on check-out . Room door soundproofing was also poor. Milk at breakfast was lumpy one of the mornings (did not try again) and panicked and muffin on the cooked menu were frozen through so obviously not……
