The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. The only issues we had were that the beer at the bar was overpriced and the air conditioning in our room was very loud. I’m not usually someone who is easily disturbed, but the noise made it difficult to sleep. Apart from that, we had a good experience and appreciated the friendly service.

Clean but difficult access to third floor rooms,, especially with luggage. Shower head needed replacing and refrigerator did not work. Very comfortable bed and decent pillow. Interesting neighborhood and easy to walk. Somewhat sketchy near the waterfront. A couple blocks from fabulous pizza.

I liked everything except the room itself. Room was too small and bathroom was even smaller. Shower needed a new door and in general disgusting and very tiny. Loved the breakfast buffet and staff there were very helpful. The art deco look of the hotel is very nice.
