“The hotel itself was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Spotless and spacious rooms, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. Location was also ideal , just a few minutes from main attractions. Many transportation options available just in case you need to commute further. Now , Unfortunately I was unable to utilize the amenities such as the gym or spa due to my late check in at 11pm (1 overnight stay). “I spent 4 nights with my Mom in Rome and was so happy we decided on Hotel La Residenza Rome. It was in a wonderful quiet clean neighborhood within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was easy to get taxis to the tour sites and the hotel staff was wonderful to us. My Mom and I had two huge rooms on the first floor which made it easy for stepping out to their cute breakfast area and the connected restaurant which we ate at daily as it was so delicious. “We liked the fact that it was within walking distance from all the major sites. Also close to many local, not tourist restaurants. And kind off in local neighborhood. Wish the instructions would have indicated that there was extra coffee and toilet paper in a cabinet by reception on a help yourself basis. Other than that, excellent place to stay. Like: - The bed was sizable and comfortable for 2 persons - Toilet was ok sized - Room size was pretty sizable too - The roof top pool had amazing view and good for cooldown during summer heat - bar up at roof was reasonably priced too - close to colosseum within 5-10 mins walk Did not like: - hotel is a bit dated interior - the windows are incredibly small so the room was quite dark overall - a lot of amenities were very basic, including cups for drinking……
