Disapponted.
Check in Dec 23, text from Vacasa asking if unit clean. I was too quick, responding 5. My son called to say bathroom in Master, not clean, photos enclosed and forwarded to Vacasa. Contacted by Ann of housekeeping, apologizing, this is not the way they leave units, I asked for some compensation , she would discuss with manager.
Saturday Dec 24. I called Ann again as heating unit did not work. In the afternoon a maintenance person came over, but he could not fix it. He suggested maybe moving them, not in the same complex, someplace in Palm Coast. We had picked this location as close to our home. My grand daughter suggested space heaters, which he got for them, and they had to move from room to room to keep warm.. Temperature in Palm Coast was mid 20F. No contact by Vacasa.
Tried to reach out to housekeeping again, received a call from Elena on Tuesday, who did not seem to be aware of our issues, said she wanted to hear from my perspective, and was elevating issue to manager. No other calls received.
Yesterday Dec. 30 my family checked, no other contact other than form e-mail asking how we enjoyed stay.
I reached out yesterday morning, they were checking into it.
In the afternoon I called back and was offered a $75 refund for cleaning, and that is all. At no point has the heating issue been addressed. I was promised the local manager would call me, nothing yet. This unit was rented with non functioning heat, and that is totally unacceptable. We can not give you a good review. The layout of the unit was nice and as said before the location perfect for us. But the service leaves lot to be desired and lack of contact. We certainly feel there should be some consideration, as we paid over $2000 for this week.
Looking forward to hearing from someone in a decision-making capacity.
