Staff and guests are respectful and everyone keeps to themselves. Rooms are dark enough to get a good night's sleep or a day nap after a long day.

This place has a homey vibe I enjoy. The other guests are nice, the cats and chickens are fun to wake up to. Not perfect, but they are actively improving this hostel, but great prices if you are traveling on a budget.

The place is a bit hidden/remote yet it's close enough to get to nearby cities. The staff has a great vibe. John and Sarah are wonderful hosts. Place is not for everyone. One must understand the rural vibe and the quietness. It's a nice hommie place. Although it's shared rooms, one has certain privacy in the bunk beds with the curtains. Plus, if it's a place to just crash, one gets there just to sleep and doesn't even see a person. Lol. I didn't. Clean bathroom, very important. All in all, a "yes" for the option of "would come back".

The staff was very friendly. I liked the improvements to the property since the last time I stayed here 2 years ago. For a hostel in the desert it is very nice.

You get what you pay for. Helpful staff. Cute chickens and kittens outside which is sweet. Washer/dryer out of commission. Privacy curtains on bunk beds were helpful. Quiet guests without drama, noise, or smells. Never a line at the shower/bathroom. Bathroom was pretty clean but be sure to bring shower shoes and toiletries. Building didn’t get too hot on 93 degree days
