Great quiet location, great friendly staff, and very comfortable rooms. Love the fact that there is free EV charging, free continental breakfast and sandwiches of your choice for lunch. Only negative is the pool was never swept during the day. Plenty of trees dropping things into the pool. Definitely will go back! Probably the best gay men’s resort in P S!

11am checkout on a Sunday was just too early. Why do that to your customers? As if a big slug of new guests are flowing into a men’s clothing optional resort on a Sunday evening! They gave us a grace extra :30 but made it seem like they just wanted to cheap out and send their cleaning crew home early. Otherwise it was a really cute place and the staff was nice.

It was our first time staying at Descanso (my partner previously stayed at the sister property, Santiago), so outside of the pictures, we didn't know what to expect. The service is top notch. We were receiving updates via text messages, and they were timely and on point. Special shout-out to Dustin for making our arrival a breeze with updates and his amazing introduction to the property. The property is chic and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. There's a pool, hot tub, firepit (in case you wanted to go from the usual 115*F of Palm Springs heat to more than 140*F>). Public bathroom and a shower too, in case you didn't want to go back to your hotel room. ;) But the best were the little touches. And there were a lot of them: a complimentary snack bar in the room, complimentary aluminum water bottles that are yours to keep, cantine that's open 24/7 and from which you can pick up soft drinks/coffee/tea/make popcorn, lunch included in the price and served poolside (usually salads and sandwiches from various places in PS), complimentary popsicles and ice-cold peppermint towels also served poolside. This is a 5* service, and the resort also provides privacy for you and your partner(s) to enjoy some relaxation time. I cannot recommend it enough. We will definitely be back.

I've traveled extensively throughout the world, and this was by far one of the best properties that I have vacationed. Everyone goes far out of their way to ensure your comfort, relaxation and happiness. From the moment you enter the front gates, all of the world's stressors leave your body - as though entering the on-earth gates of heaven into paradise. The area on the property is gorgeous, well-maintained and conducive to a total boy relaxation experience!
