“The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose……

Food was the best I’ve had in Costa Rica - and we’ve tried a lot , but nothing beats the taste and quality of their meals . Stuff goes above and beyond to assist everyone with all needs and requests. I would love to be back there one day and highly recommend it to anyone.”

Bernice is a fabulous person and she runs this resort with great care and attention, while also respecting people’s quiet and solitude. Perfect for couples and those seeking a high end experience at a very respectable price. Spa, wellness center and hiking trails all onsite. ”
