“First the positives. The hotel is in a lovely position close to the beach and the boardwalks offer a beautiful walk into Lagos for those with good mobility. We had a superior room with a sea room and cannot fault the room itself. Now for the negatives. A ripped towel was left behind the curtain presumably from the previous occupant. This should have been removed. The folder in the room states that we could request a nespresso machine.When we asked at reception they said they would find out.……

“The resort location is near to the train station. It is convenient and the environment is very comfortable. The resort is very good for relaxation. One thing is needed to improve is lack of staff to manager the swimming pool.”

“I never though I could find such a condescending management. Luckily I stayed here only for two nights; they put on a condo, with no lift, nobody to help with our heavy suitcase.......at second floor! At first we could immediately appreciate the drain pipes of the shower and bathroom: we loved having a shower in our own water because it could not be drained........... At night unpredictable alarms from the bottom of the building (from an unreachable technical area) woke us up at 3AM,……

“Terrible stay. Was supposed to have 2 bedrooms- one if them Was locked. My friend and I were forced to sleep in the same single bed that was available. The management kept on saying they will resolve the issue but never called me back. Seems like a business of many apartments and listings, they don’t really keep track of what’s going on. The listing location in Hotels.com is wrong- it was way out of the center. ”

“This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. I recommend Sensations Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great stay in Lagos. ”
