Fantastic Property

Best Spring Break Ever!

We loved everything about Warmth of the Sun! The home is beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The porches and decks were amazing and we spent a lot of time enjoying the views. It was a very memorable spring break and we can't wait to return!

Nice property near beach

The property is very nice and has a nice location between Rosemary Beach and Aly's Beach. You can easily walk or bike to both places from this home. The main drawback is the assigned beach is VERY crowded.

Excellent Beach Trip

The house is a quite part of seacrest but easy easy to get to the pool, beach (by tram stop) and restaurants. The house is one of the larger properties and as such boasts great space. The screened in spaces are excellent and we spent a lot of time here. The sun deck is very nice as feels very private. When travelling to 30a this place should be top of your list.

Outdoor Living !!

Outside decks are AMAZING! 4 levels of separate areas for everyone to have a spot to go to! This house is in the back of the neighborhood and in a quiet area.

Absolutely Perfect Vacation Home and Location

There were so many great things about this house and the area it’s hard to know where to start. The house is amazing. Plenty of room and they have thought of everything a family would need. The neighborhood is awesome, pool and amenities are first class and the beach is fabulous. Great restaurants, shops, spas – everything to make a perfect vacation. Close to the airport a real plus. Simply one of the best and most relaxing vacations I’ve ever had and we expect many more at the ‘Warmth of the Sun’…

Family vacation

The house is nice and has beautiful outdoor spaces. It is not maintained well. It was not clean. A lot of thick dust and the floors were very dirty. Also, it would be nice to have lamps in the family rooms. There are only over head lights.

Exceeding expectations!

This property met every expectation and more! Staff was very patient, flexible, and understanding when changes had to be made with the dates. Personal delivery of information at check in was wonderful. Carson was always available to answer questions or make dinner suggestions!

The Sojourn of the Secret Sisters of the Seaside LOVED this house.

This house was amazing for our girls weekend. It has everything you could want. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms even for a large group and ideal for 'girls weekend'. We road bikes EVERYWHERE because the area is designed for biking. The beach is pristine and gorgeous. Seacrest is adorable with it's Tommy Bahama 'feel'. and the pool area is like none other. Rosemary Beach was a stone's throw on a bike and has amazing restaurants and shops. George's at Alys Beach, again an easy bike ride was so good we ate there 3 times. So many options for all kinds of vacations... You will fall in love with this area and the house is amply named 'The Warmth of the Sun' because it truly is a warm and inviting place...

Feeling the Warmth of the Sun even on cloudy days!

I cannot say enough about this house and our experience with 30A Cottages and Concierge. Their service was amazing as usual with an easy time booking, help with renting bicycles, you name it! The weather was dreary during our stay but this wonderful house made it a great vacation! We did get to go to the beautiful pool one day with help of the shuttle that showed in minutes! The rest of the time we biked a bit to enjoy the Mexican restaurant nearby and the ice cream shop in Rosemary Beach. We took the short drive down to the Hub to watch a football game and spent time in the house enjoying it's amenities. There were 8 of us and room still for another family! The TV room off of the enormous master was perfect for the kids and the layout with 3 staggered balconies was unbelievable! I'd love to rent this house again so we can use the grills and hot tub as well! You can't go wrong with this one!

Warmth of the Sun was NICE!!!

Warmth of the Sun is a very good property! The location is excellent. The house has several outdoor spaces for gathering the whole group, or having smaller gangs hang out! Hot tub was HOT!! Had to take the cover off to cool it down!! Kitchen has everything a serious "foodie" could want! And the shower in the MBR on first floor... amazing! Now I know what my car experiences in the car wash!! The home does need some minor maintenance and some of the furniture has seen better days! But we all know that popular rental properties sometimes take a beating! Overall, I would recommend this home for a large group, especially with young kids! The neighborhood is fantastic. Pool is great, best place for lunch on 30A!!! Great food.. try the fried shrimp basket!! Tram to beach was nice to have to avoid having to lug all that beach stuff around! Go get yourself some "Warmth of the Sun"

Beyond Disappointment

Besides dried feces, a bathroom saturated in mold on the third floor, filthy appliances and old, work furniture with stains, this house is in NO condition for a vacation rental. Additionally, the online listing claims there is a second floor living room when really the room is on the first floor. I would’ve never booked this house knowing just that. The filthy and unsanitary conditions of this house including leaks in ceiling and mold made this house anything but a vacation. I will say, the outdoor living space is truly unique and was the one advantage of the home. The cushions are filthy and the house needs to be painted inside and out.

This house is perfect!

Wow, what a great home! We have stayed in Seacrest Beach community many times and this home is by far our family’s favorite. We are outdoorsy and love that this home has tons of outdoor space with all the amazing porches and outdoor kitchen. It was a little warm for the hot tub this time, but it has us wanting to plan a return stay in the Fall! The home, especially the kitchen, had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfy. One rainy day (not unexpectedly at the beach), but the house had several gathering areas with TVs for us to enjoy!!! The staff at 30A Cottages was very helpful in recommending area restaurants and things to do. And we always enjoy the pool and village, especially with the tram service. We will definitely return to this home again. Best vacation yet!

Seacrest Beach - Family Vacation 2022

Dear Carson Family, we rent a home in this area each summer to share time with our adult children and grandchildren. Your home was a perfect size and outdoor space was amazing. We had lovely family dinners, played cards and had a perfect week on your decks in spite of rain. However, the cleaning team at 30a Cottages is not doing your home justice. Floors, corners, indoor and outdoor rugs were in need of tic. I mopped inside several times because our feet were black if we walked barefoot. Absolutely Perfect!

The house was incredible! It had everything we needed for us and 5 teenagers. The porches were just wonderful, hot tub, bikes, kitchen equipped with anything you could possibly need, and the location was perfect. Extremely clean and such an inviting home. Just a short walk/bike ride to town, pool or beach. The kids enjoyed taking the tram occasionally and the tram stop is right in front of the house. Convenient location to walk to rosemary beach and Alys Beach for shopping and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Warmth of the Sun! The home is absolutely wonderful - we had plenty of space for 9 adults and felt like it would have been easy to add another couple or children. The home has incredible porches that we LOVED using, and several living room spaces. We also enjoyed using the grill and eating outside! Such a great space overall. Our only difficulty was with Seacrest beach access; we used the tram (very convenient - tram stop is across the street from the house) and were only allowed to be on a very small section of the beach. The area was roped off and the surrounding beaches were nearly empty but labeled private. We spoke to some employees there and they said that although it seemed busy, it was far less hectic than usual which was shocking to us. This is of course not the problem of the property owners, just something to consider when renting the home.

Best Thanksgiving Week Ever

We enjoyed our stay at Warmth of the Sun over the Thanksgiving week. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy all of the spacious outdoor space. The grills on the back patio are fantastic and the kitchen is well stocked. It's a beautiful home and well furnished. Family who stayed in the 3rd floor bedroom said that the room got very hot at night so I wonder if it becomes very uncomfortable in the Summer. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. 30A Cottages was very responsive to all of our requests.

Highly Recommend

The home is very comfortable and had a floor plan that was well suited for our family members (ie. older teen, younger kids and in-laws). The kitchen was very well equiped with everything we needed to prepare food and dine in. Would have preferred to have a TV in each bedroom - especially the two masters. Very clean and well maintained.
