Tidewater Beach Stay

Well kept, clean property. Convenient to Pier Park. Easy communication and check-in and check-out. Unit managing company was timely in responses and genuinely concerned with us having a great experience with our rental. Strongly recommend Four Star Condo Service!

A week in paradise

The property was exactly as presented, very clean, nicely decorated and made for a perfect week. Even though the price was reasonable, it was not a "bare bones" condo, but had everything needed for a perfect stay.

Amazing!

The weather was not the best but the condo at Tidewater was simply amazing. It was clean, updated, and perfect for our family. We had no issues at all. We will for sure stay here on our next trip!

Great place

This place was great. It was clean and the check in process was very easy. Make sure you register for parking the day before, it made the check in quick. The kids loved the bunk beds and their own bathroom. Everything about the rental was awesome. But the elevators during check in and check out times take a long time, be prepared to wait, that is the building not the unit. Overall wonderful stay with a small family.

Summer vacation

We had a great time!! The room was clean and updated. The decor was great also! The only down side was the elevators which I know the owners can’t control. Just be mindful of peak times. Other than that the parking garage was great, and clean. The trash chute areas were clean also. The pools were great! And the beach access was amazing!!! Plus having two chair and umbrella right outside your room was amazing!! We had a great time!

Overall review

The room and everything the room was great and clean. The overall room xperience was not the best of the resort. To start the elevators are absolutely the worst out of all the resorts we have stayed in Panama City. Next the pool was so nasty like it doesn’t get cleaned at all. There was hair an bugs and trash all in the pool every day. Also pool didn’t have any lighting for evening an night swims. Back deck also didn’t have any lighting at all to see with out flash light. Other than those which are a BIG deal the beach interning was great a chairs with room was great.

Clean condo! Beautiful views!

We really enjoyed our stay! Condo was clean and as described. Views are even better in person! We saw dolphins from the balcony daily, a manatee swam by one day and the sound of the waves from the balcony was great! We ate meals at the table out there and I was able to relax and read on the reclining lounge chair. The chair service on the beach was a real treat. Their staff was always super friendly and hard working. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Kitchen was stocked for cooking, which we did. We did not use the bunks but they were set up nicely with a tv for each bunk. Tidewater staff were all very friendly. Make sure to do the online check in prior to arrival. We saw many others waiting who had not done it, whereas everything was ready for us upon arrival. We would definitely recommend this unit to others.

40th birthday girls weekend

This condo was perfect! We booked it only 2 weeks before for a long weekend 40th birthday girls trip after a change in plans. The beach is gorgeous, the beach service included is a bonus, get down there early if you want first row! The condo as a whole was very clean and furniture is holding up well- pictures are very accurate. It is a resort so the perks of that is no fighting for carts, an unloading zone for 30 mins, on site restaurant, ice cream/store/starbucks, 2 pools, an arcade room and someone who sits in the elevator and takes you straight to your floor- sometimes the wait is long but there's always stairs! I loved everything about this condo, in fact one of my friends is looking to book in August that traveled with me she loved it so much. Thanks so much for allowing us to rent your beautiful place, looking foreard to comong back here!

It takes a lot from your vacation when you have to wait 45 minutes and sometimes longer for an elevator. The #7 elevator that is located outside our condo worked maybe 3 times the whole stay. Pools were way over crowded and rules were not enforced. The only thing going for this was the nice condo. We wont be staying here again.

Reviewer Comments: Tidewater 1216 was a beautifully decorated, well stocked unit with beautiful views. We loved the unit. The master bed/bath was perfect. The kids room with double bunks is extremely small. The bunk beds are wall to wall with a very narrow area in front. My daughter couldn't even keep/open her suitcase in her room. She had to keep it in the hallway. The bunk beds were comfortable. The elevator situation was horrible. We were on the 12th floor so hauling luggage and our belongings up and down 12 flights of stairs was not an option. When we first arrived 2 of the elevators were not working. The one closest to our room was still operating though the door was slamming shut and when the elevator would move up or down it sounded like a machine gun firing. It was repaired after a couple days. Even after they had all the elevators operable the lines for elevators were usually 10-15 minutes with many people giving up and taking the stairs. If people stayed in line some of the wait times would've easily been 20-30 minutes. We are a younger family so we took the stairs several times during our stay. The condo is right on the beach so we enjoyed watching the sun rise and set from the balcony. We saw the blue angels and a couple other jets fly by occasionally which was a nice surprise. Overall the condo itself was clean and comfortable. The staff in the hotel was ok. We experienced a few very friendly staff members, but some were very unwelcoming and rude. We talked with several guests throughout our stay and overall our observations of staff and elevator issues was the norm and apparently both ongoing issues according to those who stay there more frequently.

Great place to stay near Pier Park

My husband and I went and took two teenagers with us. This Tidewater unit is on the 12th floor and is nicely decorated and has a bunk room, which is nicer than the bunk beds in the hallway. 2 br so we didn’t have to share with the kids. Walking distance to Pier Park. The unit came with beach service- 2 chairs and an umbrella, which was a bonus. Tidewater is known for having to wait on the elevators, but this unit is near and end one and in a pinch you could use the stairs since it’s only 12th floor. I’d definitely recommend this unit.
