Great 4th of July Trip

Our family enjoyed the location that was in walking distance to everything without having to drive down the busy front beach road. The local food was very good and convenient to get to. When the fireworks were shot from both piers and the beach it was a spectacular sight to see. We will definitely come back for that great experience again.

Beautiful Place To Stay

I really loved my stay we were close to a lot of food places that were in walking distance..The home was really beautiful and clean the view was amazing me and my family overall enjoyed ourselves..I will be coming back this was a wonderful trip oh and the Tiki bar was top tier..Everyone was very nice helpful and just generous people until next Time I will be returning…

Beautiful condo and beach

The condo was nicely updated with a great view of the ocean. Pier Park was only steps away with all the restaurants and shopping you could want. St Andrews State Park is about 20 minutes away and worth the drive

Great unit!

This was our favorite unit to date at Calypso. The decor was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the place was clean. The toaster was broken upon arrival, but they had a new one delivered the same day I reported it. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, not so comfy beds!

The condo was beautiful and well-equipped! Property management checked on us several times to ensure everything was good. As I mentioned to property management, two out of the three beds were uncomfortable. The bunk room had a metal frame that squeaked when you move that kept the kids from sleeping and our friends staying in the master bedroom said their bed was extremely uncomfortable. Both of our friends...we travel with them often and they never complain about the bed. (I was glad we lost the coin toss as to who got the Master bedroom!). And lumpy pillow city!!! Bring your own pillows. That as well as our feet being nasty if we walked on the floor without socks (the floor wasn't mopped well) is why I didn't give it 5 stars! If they remedy these issues, it will most definitely be a 5 star.

Calypso 1206E

The Condo itself was nice. The issues we had were the living room TV remotes did not work, even after changing the batteries. The second sink in the master bath was clogged and it was hard to coordinate schedules with Maintenace so it was not fixed before we left. The wifi did not work well. It would just spin. It would connect for a few minutes then be kicked off again. We did like the location as it was within walking distance to pier park. The biggest issue was the huge fight rings on the beach directly below our condo EVERY night. 100's of teens/college aged people literally fighting. We called security and was told that their jurisdiction ended at the pool. Understandable, but they were so loud. All the units around us were complaining. Why cant Calypso call police? We were told we had to call. We did not but units around us did. After looking online, I realized these fight rings are common all year round and Calypso is the meet up place for them. We could not take our kids crabbing at night on the beach for fear of these fight rings. We will not be staying at Calypso again for this reason. There also are very few pool chairs. There is room for more, however they did not have many out.

Great for thunder beach

We love staying at Calypso for Thunder Beacg because of the short walk to venders, Donovan’s and Pier Park. And of course it’s on the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Good rental!

Overall this rental was good! The only minor things holding me back from a 5 star review was finding a VERY dirty fork in the drawer, a red stain on one of the pillowcases, the tv in the kids bunk room would not connect to the WiFi the entire time we were there, and one of the couch cushions was ripped. Other than those few minor things, the location was GREAT, all appliances worked great, and the pool and tiki bar were wonderful!

Beautiful Condo

The condo was exactly as described. It was very clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and my husband loved the large tvs and having Roku allowed him to use all of our apps. The premise was beautiful and maintained well. The heated pool was a favorite for our grandchildren and being able to see the beach and ocean from the pool deck was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it could’ve been perfect had we been allowed early check-in like I was told we could. We arrived mid afternoon and then we were told this condo doesn’t allow early check-in so we had to wait until 4pm. I totally understand this rule when the condo is rented the night before and it has to be cleaned it I was told the day before it wasn’t and to just contact them when we arrived and we could check in. Other than this, it was perfect. I would happily rent again, but only if we plan to arrive late evening .

The Perfect Spot

This condo was in the perfect location and the perfect size for our family. The view was beautiful and communication was great with the property manager. I would just suggest a few cleaning supplies for those that are staying for more than 3 days and fix the few things that were broken. As for cleanliness….it was pretty clean. Needed more attention to the floors though. We’d definitely stay here again!

Summer 2022

Spacious and looks just like the pictures as far as furniture, etc. Great view of fireworks from the balcony. Disappointed in lack of basics. Old fashioned coffee pot but no filters. No colander and not enough spoons or forks for our family. No spices, not even salt and pepper. For a week, we received 2 trash bags (super thin) and 2 dishwasher tabs. No hot pads or dish rag to wipe the counters. Had to use towels from the bathroom to remove food from the oven. 2 standard pillows on the beds - not 4 like one would expect. Personally, I sleep with 2 pillows and have never stayed anywhere with a queen or king bed that did not have 4 pillows. Since there were only two, my husband and I each got 1. Also, there were cheerios on the floor upon arriving in the bedroom with a king and sand in the sheets in the bedroom with the queen. Almost like they had the sheets on the floor prior to making the bed up. The closet in the laundry room had beach stuff in it but everything was thrown in there and looked as if you pulled one thing out it would all collapse. We paid almost $4K for 5 nights and expected more. It has potential but these little things go a long way. We would not rent this unit again.

Great vacation!

Just got back from our stay and really enjoyed it! Everything is just as pictured. I was very impressed with how everything was easy and worked out perfectly with getting into the condo. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
