Spring Break getaway!

Enjoyed my stay

I am a repeat renter of this condo and continue to enjoy my time there. The location is superb. The Book That Condo maintenance crew is consistently prompt and attentive. The one thing that I do not enjoy is the dining room furniture. The table surface is uneven (need to be careful with glasses) and the benches are not at all comfortable. I use chairs from the porch furniture instead. I plan to return again next year.

Lovely condo, excellent location

The condo was decorated beautifully and the location was excellent. I have already rebooked for next year. The few issues I had were addressed promptly by the maintenance crew. I couldn't be happier!

Nice little beach condo

The property was as pictured/described and felt like a fairly good deal for the money. The building is a bit older and there were some issues with 2/3 of the elevators not working for a day, but that's not the booking agent's fault. Other than that, no issues with housekeeping or maintenance. Pools and hot tub were very clean and beach access was convenient. We were happy with our trip.

The ocean view is great !! Other than that this unit requires some TLC. Kitchen is not very well equipped there was barely enough cutlery. Two very nice new recliners were a bonus and the beds were very comfy. TV's are small and outdated as the picture and sound was distorted. It would have been nice to have a mop and pail to clean the floors for those people who have extended stays.

The Book That Condo office & Maintenance staff were very attentive to my needs. During severe weather/tornado warnings, we were kept advised of safety measures by text & email. There was a lot of ongoing maintenance in the garage & other areas, creating daily drilling noise, but that could not be helped. The online photos of this condo need to be updated to reflect the new furniture. The dining room table has an uneven surface & the benches are not comfortable, so we used the lanai chairs instead. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this condo for the third year, and have rebooked for next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great view, the new deck furniture was great. The condo was just the right size. The pool area was really nice, it convient to shopping and restaurants. The condo could use some updating - one sofa in the living room makes noises when you sit or stand, you could feel the springs in the master bed, the ice maker leaked water inside in refrigerator, knobs came off the dryer when spinning, the electronic lock broke and we were locked out for 30+ minutes, very slow wi-fi, missing kitchen utensils and pot holders, poor lighting in shower and no non-skid in shower. We made the best of it all and had a great time. Would check on updates prior to recommending this unit.

Rebooked for next year

This is the second year I have rented this condo. The Book That Condo maintenance and office staff, and condo location are superb. Unfortunately the online photos of the condo do not reflect the new furniture that was delivered during our stay last year. New dining room table has uneven surface (glasses wobbled & surface unusable for writing) & had benches vs chairs-awful! We used the porch chairs instead. Fitted sheets do not fit the new mattresses. I have rebooked for next year & hope the linen issue will be resolved by then.

Nice condo

Our room was clean upon arrival no bad musty smell or mold. Balcony provides great view trash is easily accessible. Only 1 towel per person provided. Front desk is rarely available. Pools weren’t overcrowded, plenty of chairs at pool. Easy access to beach. Limited parking under building however, we lucked out the entire time and found a spot. You may have to park across the street and cross a covered walk bridge, If full . There are some places within walking distance, but not a ton. There is a daquari shack across the street which is nice. Elevators were slow and frequently broken. Only had one working most of our stay and at one point none were working. . As well as the coded gates to get to pool and beach were broken most of our stay and you would get locked out and have to walk around or prop the gate open.

Book That Condo (BTC)

BTC agents kept me well informed prior to my trip by sending various emails and notices, however when I arrived to my destination I was unable to reach them by phone as they instructed me to do. When trying to contact BTC at the phone number they provided to report issues w/the condo and/or other concerns, I constantly received this message "your call cannot be completed as dial please check the number and try your call again" - needless to say I was disappointed. How can a quest report a concern if the phone number the company provided does not work? Nevertheless, the accommodation was nice, condo was clean and the beach view was great.
