Walk to beach is so short from the back door... Add a few comfy chairs in living room, that are not so low to ground, would be a upgrade. Also, keypad vs keys would be great. First place we have stayed that we needed keys....

Enjoyable

Really enjoyed the house. There was 12 total guests ranging in ages of 5 to 60. Bedrooms were spacious and living room, kitchen and dining room large enough for all of us. House was very clean, beach views were amazing and beach access only a few steps. Really enjoyed the neighborhood amenities which included pools, pickle ball, basketball etc. One thing of note the only way to access the upper two floors from the bottom floor is by elevator or outside stairs. The bottom floor is pool side and has one bedroom and the bunk room.

Convenient and quiet

We were two families on spring break. There was plenty of room for the families to spread out and for all of the kids to have space to do their own thing. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat. It was clean and the management company was super responsive. My only complaint is the pain that it is to get upstairs from the bottom floor. The elevator is somewhat finicky and it is the only way to access the bottom floor from inside the house. As long as you are ok with an outdoor exit then the house is perfect.

Everyone enjoyed the long weekend

Reviewer Comments: The entire rental process was simple and went smoothly, including receiving all of the relevant information (guest passes, access codes, etc) from the rental company when needed. The house itself was in excellent working condition. The kitchen was stocked with all of the dishes and equipment we needed, including higher end appliances and (outside) a large, clean gas grill. Everything at the house was as expected based on the listing.We were able to text the rental company with any questions or problems. The couple of questions that I had were answered within minutes. The only issue we had was that we couldn't find an iron, and the property manager brought one by within 20 minutes. It was the best service I've ever had at a beach rental property.There is a private beach access, so you can be on the beach in 30 seconds. The house comes with 4 chairs + umbrellas that are setup daily from 9am-5pm, and you can rent additional chairs if needed. The beach was not at all crowded, even on a busy Labor Day weekend.The community was quiet and friendly. We rented a golf cart, which made it easy to get anywhere within a few minutes. The pickleball and basketball courts were a big hit with the active members of our group. There are also pools, a playground, and other amenities that were easy to access and not busy.The location was perfect. There are grocery stores and restaurants within 5-10 minutes in either direction. We were able to place a grocery delivery order, which arrived shortly after we checked-in to the property and saved us 2-3 hours of time that evening. Rosemary Beach is a 10 minute drive away, which has even more options for shopping and dining. We were only a 25 minute drive from ECP airport.We will definitely be staying at Carillon again, and probably at the same property. The weekend could not have been any better.
