Peaceful Vacation

Great Family Location

This is our second time staying at Wave N Sea and it was even better this time. The house is such a welcoming and great family house. My kids have commented both times that it feels like a family home and not just a rental property. Everything we needed was available for the house and we stayed in and cooked many of the nights. Great kitchen and hang out area for the family. The access to the pool and beach was wonderful and we enjoyed both. Every night we crossed the street to listen to the live music and hang out as a family. Rosemary Beach area is such a family-friendly area and so walkable for us. Really enjoyed our time and hoping to make it back soon!

We had an issue upon arrival with the floors being quite dirty. Contacted management company and they sent cleaning people over. Needs some touch up painting on cabinets but overall very nice.

It was in a great location with lots of places to walk to...restaurants, stores, etc. The beach access was a few steps away. The very steep stairs to the beach might be challenging for older guests. We somehow managed but the younger ones had no issues.

The house itself was quite nice inside as it was well maintained and decorated. A little disappointed in the outside of the property specifically the pool which did not seem to be working properly. We arrived after the rain from Sally and noticed that all the outdoor cushions were left outside and basically unusable during our stay.

Exceptional experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wave and Sea, July ‘23. The home was clean and perfectly equipped. The best part though was that the home is a few steps from beautiful, private, white-sand beach. Each day we had our own beach setup (two chairs and umbrella), and could easily come and go from the beach. I also loved spending time on the porch swing. This was our first visit to Rosemary beach and we loved that everything was within walking/biking distance. There were many great restaurants and shops. The Royal Destinations staff was attentive and quickly answered any questions. We will definitely use this company and stay at this property again.

You’re a mere steps away from having sand between your toes and minutes away from anything else you'd desire. While we left the little ones behind this location is perfect for any family getaway. Spacious enough to find a quiet nook for coffee. The only issue/concern we had was that it seemed as if the previous guest had a dog/cat that shed, we were covered in pet hair daily (yikes). Quite noticeable to non-pet owners. A deep clean is truly needed.

Great Thanksgiving stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Extended family of 10 met up for the holiday. The house was very clean on arrival. House was as described and fit us all very well. Bathrooms have been updated. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook over the holiday. We opted to have the pool heated and it was a balmy, delightful temperature. We used the four bikes provided and the operated well. The location is absolutely perfect. Right next to the main Rosemary Beach. The beach access from the house was easy- but don’t forget your wristband! Gorgeous beach. Royal destinations did a fantastic job of checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Really appreciated the text that the house was ready a little earlier than 5:00- great system.

Disappointing

The price of this property was outrageous for the quality of the home. We have stayed in world class hotels and rental properties, including Rosemary & Seaside, that didn’t cost what we paid for this home. Those properties were luxurious, very clean and had several additional toiletries to last us the week. In addition to this, saying it sleeps 12 is over stated. We are a family of 10, and we had to buy two blowup mattresses to accommodate our teenagers. They also say there is a second master, but the bathroom is in the hall, not the bedroom, and that bathroom door never latched to keep the door locked. If they had charged us the “average nightly rate,” we would have felt the price was appropriate, but they charged 3x it, making it disappointing.

Absolutely amazing rental

One of the best locations of any rental I’ve ever rented. 8 doors down to the beach. 1 block to seacrest town. 2 blocks to Rosemary town. Multiple times a day I kept saying omg I can’t believe this location. Families alllll over. Beautiful house inside and outside. The neighborhood was to die for! WISH WE HAD MORE TIME!

Needs a few updates… great location!

Cons..Could use an update… needs ice maker, trundle beds uncomfortable even for kids , better window treatments to block lights and sun… have to keep air on 70 and way to hot in August!!! check in instructions not clear and didn’t return calls… pros… great location to beach and shopping etc. kids enjoyed pool,…house warming gift was nice !overall we had a great vacation

Beautiful house and great location. Also so easy to check in! Just difficult to get in touch with the property manager in advance of the trip (although we easily contacted them when we were there and got locked out). House was clean too but for a chair that looked like it may have blood on it.

Nice property for the right group

Pros Access to Beach Private Pool Nicely Finished Interior Location is walkable to many restaurants Cons No railings on back deck was a nightmare for small children Bedding/Linens/Pillows were uncomfortable Smelled like there was a gas leak (management prepared us for this at check in, gave no reason why) Power tripped multiple times (management knew there was an issue, asked us if we knew how to fix??) Every morning we would find multiple Palmetto bugs around the house.
