Great Location

We love Shores of Panama, this was our second visit. The condo was great and we loved the big balcony. Everything on the listing was accurate and check in was easy. We got a text saying the condo was ready to check in, which was nice. We would love to stay here on our next trip.

Perfect condo for families

Great Experience!

We had a great experience with our rental and they were so easy to work with. Everything was nice, spacious, and overall a great trip for our family. The only complaint I have is the elevators and parking, which only has to do with the resort.

Nice place!

It was overall a nice place and a fun stay! However, the listing said there would be beach towels and there weren’t, and a few other things were missing. The mattresses were rather dirty so we put double sheets on all of them.

Quick Getaway

Everything was amazing, we left some salt and pepper there as there is NO seasonings. My only complaint was not knowing that the top bunk ONLY holds 100lbs. My daughter is 120lbs. We managed. So future stayers ....know that there is a restriction on one of the beds. Should really be for smaller kids. Nice place though. Excellent view and location.

Had to clean massive clumps of hair from master bath tub befor water would train properly. Had to remove fabric softener holder from washing machine and remove massive amounts of clumped washing detergent where previous occupants had benn improperly using the washer by adding soap powder to the fabric softener holder.

Shores of Panama

Property was nice out door hot tub jets didn’t work only like 2 of them and it was like warm bath water not a hot tub. Unit itself was nice great ocean/pool view from balcony and bedroom. Having a parking spot on the same floor as the unit was nice due to elevators being crowed. Could use some cups and bowls there were only 3 bowls we had to buy some from Walmart and no real cups just some mugs and martini glasses overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Unit was Nice, Complex, well...

Let me first just say the unit was great no issues there, the location on the beach during spring break is not somewhere you want to go with kids. The beach is full of spring break teenagers who fill the beach with raucous behavior until the police remove them each night, it'll be super entertaining if you want a real life episode of cops each night. I've heard this beach is amazing at other times so as long as you're not here March-April you should be fine.

First week of May is best time to visit Panama City Beach

We couldn't have asked for better weather!!! The unit was okay. It needs some updates. The toilet in the front bedroom ran constantly. The leather recliner is lopsidded and the couch seemed dirty. The kitchen was missing things that most kitchens are stocked with at other places I have stayed, i.e. hot pads, spatula, cookie and pizza pans. The pool area was very nice, we spent most of our time hanging by the pool. The first week in May was a good week to go (except for the bike weekend) because there was not a lot of school kids, wasn't crowded, didn't have to wait in lines at restaurants or stores, the local traffic was lite. I want to go back same time next year.

8th Floor Room with a view

The condo was fine, plenty of room, bed comfortable, exactly as photographed. Place some eating utensils in the unit, only 3 forks and no spoons. View was great of the pool and the beach. We were fortunate to be in town off season. We will never stay in a high rise in the future "on season" due to the parking lot situation. If the lot is full, good luck getting in and out without a bing or bang on your car. If you go, never leave the property until you are ready to leave. The parking situation is a nightmare in season. Spaces too close and a large car is an issue as is a truck. Only 6'1" clearing.

Pluses and minuses

Nice place with a great pool. Room 817 parking is really close to the room which was a plus, but it is on the eighth floor of the parking garage. While most parking garages have one way up and one way down, this one has traffic in both directions and if you have a truck and are parking, it can be a real pain. The benefit to this room was the parking spot is easy to get into, and you don’t have to wiggle your way into it or worry about holding up people trying to get up to their floor. The elevators are not that great, but only a couple of the busy times was it an issue. Still took the stairs a couple times down. They want you to wear wrist bands, I didn’t, I just strapped them to our towel bag and when they asked I pointed to it, and said I wasn’t wearing that all week. Room was nice, new sheets for the pull out, but could have used a comforter. View of the beach is nice, but it is a busier section of beach, so if you want a more remote beach, probably not a choice for you. Pineapple Willys is right next door, and the place is always busy, so it does add to some traffic on the weekends

Save your money and go somewhere else!!!

From start to finish this was by far the most awful place I’ve ever stayed. First I would like to say I have never made a bad review on any social media platform in my life, but this place deserves its own post. Upon arrival we were to have wristbands and parking passes in our rooms, but they were for a different condo all together. The thermostat didn’t work either and I had a 9 month old baby and it was freezing. I called emerald beach properties (property managers for this listing) for these two things and we were told it would be fixed that day. We were given new wristbands and parking passes but the thermostat wasn’t fixed. The next day I called again to see if it would be fixed… no one showed. In the meantime we realized that the coffee machine didn’t work, the dishwasher didn’t work, the tubs were stopping up, and the ice machine didn’t work on top of the thermostat!!! For a lack of better words NOTHING IN THIS PLACE WORKS and all the amenities I was promised weren’t in working order!! After a call again the next day (that’s right, three days in a row of calling) I finally spoke to someone who was eager to help. Turns out we needed a new thermostat all together, they had to buy a new dishwasher, he fixed the tub and had to call a plumber for the ice machine. This was within 12 hours of us having to check out. We were not offered any money back or more than a sorry. The place was so dirty we all had black feet and black socks when we left. Worst stay ever!!!
