Comfy Stay

Overall, we really enjoyed the stay! Cute, small and simple. Just what you need! The only thing I’d say we had hoped for a better gym but other than that even the location was great, a few minutes walking to the beach!

Accurate property description except for the lack of hair dryer. Only about 2-3 minutes of hot water, which might have been an acute issue or might be a long term issue.

Besides the mold that needs to be handled the property is very nice, in a good location (a short walk to pineapple Willy’s) and the price was very good!

Fun, short family trip.

The air wasn’t working in our room the first night. Vacasa was able to put us in another room while it was being fixed. They even refunded our first night. April, the property manager was AMAZING!

Condo review

Condo is terrible. Old beds that are hard. Slept on couch. Mold growing in bath. Big hole in wall behind couch.. condo sweats and makes everything wet.. door combination takes many times to work. You are crazy to vrbo this

Was not clean, there was a safety and cleaning issues. We ended up leaving after being on the phone with VRBO & VACASA for over a hour and 45 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend.

top of the gulf was not what i expected

building was rough and worn down, very outdated. They were doing construction however. We reserved a oceanfront-ocean view room-could not see anything-windows leaked-and come to find out no one was supposed to rented this room due to scheduled construction. We were relocated after 2 days there and the new location was AMAZING!!!

Poor Quality

The unit is grossly covered with mold behind the sofa the size of the sofa,as well as, in bathroom. The whole unit had a moldy odor which is a severe health hazard. The whole unit need maintenance and upgrading.

Room was gross!

The building was nice but the room we staying in was run down and gross. The room was dirty. One of the beds had a full size box spring with a queen size mattress. The bathroom had black spots on the ceiling that appeared to be mold. The water only stayed warm for about 10 minutes. The room was overall run down and dirty! It was on the first floor but not a beachfront. I will not be staying in this room again.

Disgusting

Got there on Monday. There was construction going on at the property that I was not aware of. It was very noisy. Went in the room, turned the heat on because it was cold. The fire alarm started going off. There was gnats in the kitchen. The room had a bad smell. On one bed the box spring smaller was smaller than the mattress. The closet was full of junk. Very disappointed. Spoke with the lady at the front desk. Decided to stay somewhere else.

Great location! Not a good choice on room!

Upon entering room,the room had a bad smell! On air conditioner vent was a exposed hole,no vent cover.The vertical blinds at sliding glass door had missing vertical blinds,people from outside could seen in.Kitchen sink,very loose.Bathroom door was out of plumb,when in the bathroom had to lift up right side of door to close.Ceiling fan directly connected to wall outlet by a power cord=Fire Hazard. The bad smell stayed in the room. Will not stay in this room again,will choose another room.

Would not recommend

I don’t even know where to to begin. Black mold/mildew all over the shower. Shower curtain rod fell down during our first shower and would not go back up. We were given 1/2 roll of toilet paper and didn’t realize there was not additional rolls until it was too late. Filthy floors under beds and appliances. Beds were rock hard. I would wake up with my arms asleep in the night and sore back in the morning. The pillows were pancakes, and there were no blankets on the bed or in the room, only two top sheets. The furnishings are completely different than the photos. One of the benches was missing to the patio table. We have stayed at Top of the Gulf previously and had a wonderful experience. This room was run down and in need of repair and a deep cleaning. Very disappointed, especially for the price.

Great location

Great spot for a small family. The room was clean and comfortable. A few things could have been better. The wifi would log on but anything we choose to watch would never load. Also there weren't any utensils and would have been nice to know that before hand. Very nice shower but only Luke warm water. Absolutely no hot water.

Not bad for the price

This condo is outdated but it wasn't too bad for the price that we paid. There are not many restaurants around (within walking distance). It was nice that it is on the beach and the check in and out process was very smooth!
