Location, beach front, quiet end of town, very nice condo. This is our 2nd time staying at the Sterling and absolutely love it. We will always find a place to stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

The views are amazing. The condo itself is a tad outdated, but all that you need is there. Beds are comfy and there is plenty of kitchen storage. Having our own washer and dryer was also really great. The staff is super helpful and nice. The beach is beautiful. Overall, I would recommend.

Beautiful condo!

We absolutely loved this condo! It's very open and airy and has an expansive balcony. We loved enjoying the sunset every evening. The decor definitely made you feel like you were in Florida. The high ceilings made the condo seem even bigger than it is. The couches were super comfy as well. It was impecably clean. Also, being from Paducah and 2 of us being UK grads, we loved seeing the little ceramic Wildcat. Go Cats! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Amazing view and home

The pictures are just like it looks. The space was very big. The view is amazing. Enough room for a family or a romantic space for a couple. It's not a commercial resort so the pool area is nice to enjoy and it right off the beach. Me and my family will definitely be back. We turned on the surround sound radio and sit on the balcony watching the waves ans listening to music. You even have a space in the parking garage that we found out about a few days after we got there it was nice for when it rained. Negative - the beds felt old and made sounds every time you moved in them. There was a few kitchen appliances that was out of date but other then that it's an amazing place

Furniture is old and filthy. Recliner in pictures was different and very rickety. Party of the reason we picked this unit because of the big recliner only to be disappointed. Old dishwasher didn't get dishes clean. Old dryer didn't get clothes dry unless ran for hours. Noisy place. There was an awful drive most of the time. Elevator noise was pretty bad. The view was breathtaking. Needs we're okay. Bedding was bad. Old pillows.

Fun Family getaway!

When we arrived at the condo I notice instantly that there was sand all over the condo floors and couches. I know to expect some sand since we are near the beach. But if the condo was recently cleaned I’m not sure the floors were swept. I was able to find a broom and dust pan and swept up. A hard floor vacuum would have taken less time. Also found sand all over the mattress pad of the pull out bed. When we were leaving I removed the bedding from the primary bed and the mattress cover was disgusting. It had a blood stain and another large stain of something. I was mortified. We didn’t remove any more bedding! Dryer works but has to be ran multiple times to dry laundry. Loved the access to the beach and pool!

Lovely Condo

The Condo was lovely. Very well decorated and nice. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. The view from the 15th floor is breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The only small issue we had was the broken and buckled floor tiles in front of the kitchen sink. Definitely could not walk around barefoot. Other than that, we had no issues whatsoever.

Dishonest deal

The room was great, the problem is you didn't disclose that the balcony view would be blocked by scaffolding. Saying the roof of the resort is being worked on isnt an acceptable disclosure, it should have explicitly said the balcony view would blocked. That was wrong on your part. No one at VRBO or #vacasa tried to remedy the situation after promising me I'd get a call back.

Not the best unit at sterling beach.

I'll start with the good. Stunning view, sweet note from the owner, super comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen, towels etc. Super nice to allow guests to use the garage parking space. The biggest issue is that there are broken floor tiles right in the middle of the kitchen. Not just broken but bowed up and pieces are breaking off. Maybe not a big deal for everyone but we have 2 young toddlers that run around constantly so we probably spend more time in the room than most because we're always going up for a snack or nap and it was such a pain. My daughter even cut her foot on it and screamed the last 2 days when we tried to get in the ocean. It was pitiful and just upsetting. When we told management about it right when we checked in they said the owner was aware and didn't want to repair it because the whole floor would need repair. I get it because it's busy season but I feel like it should be mentioned before booking. It was a shock when we checked in. Even covering it with a mat would be better than nothing which is what we did after my daughter got hurt we purchased a cheap bathroom mat to keep over it until we left. Secondly the water and ice don't work on the refrigerator that was annoying as well as the outlet by the bed in the master bedroom. The drawers on the dresser in the spare bedroom are cheap and misaligned and kept falling on my children's feet when they'd go to get dressed. We've been staying at sterling beach for over 25 years since I was a kid and this unit has been the most disappointing. I hate to leave anyone a bad review but I can't get past the tile, it's a safety issue and considering how much the rates have been the past few years I'd expect a little more.
