Great vacation destination!

There was adequate space for our needs. The only negatives were spotty cable TV and the lack of kitchen supplies. Overall, this unit met our needs during our 2 week stay.

The code on the door did not work, the security guard couldn’t get it to work either! Very frustrating when you’re tired from traveling! Security finally got it open with another code! No one was in the office! We left the keys on the counter and the door unlocked when we left! Otherwise it was great! I just checked my bank charges and need to talk with someone about extra chgs, plz call me? I dont hav a # to reach anyone! Thanx

Not Clean, dryer not working, bad communication.

Room wasn’t clean when we checked in and the dryer didn’t work. We were offered for the cleaning company to come back out and re-clean or get a refund of the cleaning fee, and they were sending appliance repair out for the dryer. The appliance repair came on Thursday, 5 days after arrival. Also since we had already cleaned the room, we opted for the refund. We checked out on June 11th and over a month later, we still don’t have our refund nor will anyone return any messages. Don’t stay here.

Emerald Isle,Panama City Beach

We travel a lot and we have stayed at many locations that I always look up on VRBO.The condo we stayed in at Emerald Isle was definitely not clean,and upon arrival we instantly was disappointed.We could not walk I. The floors in the unit bare footed it would make bottoms of our feet black,very limited on kitchen utensils,dishes,glasses and coffee cups.We had to wash any of the kitchen supplies we needed to use before we used them.The fridge was very outdated and a piece of wood with duct tape held one of the guards together on the door,mold on the shower curtains,large hair ball and dust bunnies still on the very old broom,heavy dust on head boards and most of the wood furniture.TV had to be slapped on side to keep it working in the first bedroom.Over all very dirty and not updated at all.we will not be staying at Emerald Isle again.

In dire need of updates

MANY things broken, not thoroughly clean. Furniture in disrepair. No handicap assist bars. Kitchen not supplied with enough cooking utensils/pans. Management company almost impossible to get in contact with. Will NOT recommend any accommodations by this management company. Refrigerator was dirty, had broken shelving. Patio curtains were molded. Only one additional trash bag supplied. Had to go purchase my own pans and utensils to be able to fix food for family because there were only 2 very small skillets, mixer was broken. Vacuum didn't suck up well. A small broom was available but no dust pan. Tile was only clean in wide open areas, not near door/wall facings or under beds. Tile also had several uneven spots that could cause a hazzard. Dressers had all kinds of knobs off making it difficult to utilize. Main door entrance lock is very difficult to use and is a complete hassle especially if you don't have both hands free. Bed was very uneven, so we put a towel under middle brace to even it up, close to 3 inches off the ground. Dining chairs, only 2 were NOT broken. 1 of the six was so broken, it was shoved into the closet. Living room furniture is so worn out, it was difficult to sit in. Common bathroom shower had broken soap holder that was just laying in the closet. BOTH toilet seats were broken, making it very difficult to even sit on for sliding. Laundry area was NASTY!

Disappointing

I have very little positive input with regards to this Condo. Where to begin.. First of all, we reserved this Condo long before the pandemic started so, I made several attempts to reach this property management company (phone and email) well over a month before our trip just to get just some general information about what to expect etc. No one ever contacted me back. Nothing! Of course they were very prompt when it came time to debit my account for the remaining balance due, though. On check in day, we received notification that the Condo was ready at NOON rather than 4pm. Awesome, right?? No. The moment we walked in the door I knew why it was ready so early. It was more than obvious that the bare minimum was done to get the place ready for the next tenant. It smelled horrible (very strong mildew odor), the walls were dirty, disgusting baseboards and just an overall dirty place. The pillowcases didn’t appear to have been laundered so, I removed the pillow cases to wash myself and discovered the pillows were covered in mildew spots. Disgusting. I immediately sent an email with my concerns per the check in instructions but, of course, no one responded. A couple days later we had an electrical breaker flip by simply turning on the bedroom light. Called the property manager again, left a detailed message, no response. Ridiculous.. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it smelled better than staying inside. That’s about the only good thing I can say about this place. Needless to say, we will never be back.

Summers end

We have been staying in this complex for many years and still love it. Great proximity to everything. The 22nd floor had great view from the large balcony. The furniture was just okay and stands to be replaced but only a small portion of our stay was on the sofa. I would rent this unit again.

Could be better

We stayed a week and the second day we had issues with the neighbor calling in on us and having us threatened to be evicted but come to find out the security guard was new and everything that was said was perfectly fine and that we shouldn’t have been threatened. The room could use some updating but overall nice. Just the staff at the resort could be way better.

Needs improvement

Smells odd first thing I noticed, cheap and very tattered decor and furnishings. Balcony was the best part, the kicker was the dry cleaning fee for a blanket. Extremely disappointed.
