“Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! Location was perfectly central, delicious brunch was just steps away and the town centre was a few minutes out. I hope that we return to……

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “La permanenza qui è stato diciamo nella media, comoda perché è vicino a skiathos centro però devi avere un mezzo per scendere e salire, a piedi penso sia infattibile. La struttura secondo me è un po’ vecchio stile, per essere un 4 stelle. La doccia era tutta aperta e l’acqua cadeva fuori, per me era scomodo. Il Wi-Fi almeno nella stanza arrivava poco, non ho detto niente perché alla fine usavo il mio Internet. Colazione, il giusto forse mi aspettavo di più. Pulizia, il secondo giorno non sono……

“Posizione perfetta per girare l’isola, molto silenziosa e rilassante. Struttura con stanze riservate con giardino o balconcino, frigobar, aria condizionata e cassetta di sicurezza. Ci è piaciuto molto il materasso davvero confortevole, pulizia presente, cambio asciugamani frequente, Poppi, una signora carinissima e disponibile! “Beautiful gardens and pool area. Despite being next to the road it was very peaceful. Good selection at Breakfast. There is only one coffee machine which could lead to queues at peak times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. The walks through the forest to numerous beaches are beautiful. A few good restaurants all within walking distance if you don’t have a car or want……

“Beautiful room which I think had been recently renovated. Really well appointed kitchen and bathroom too that also seemed brand new. Lovely hostess (Eva?) Who made us feel very welcome . We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend although worth noting there are a lot of steps for anyone with mobility issues.”

“Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate……

“Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.”

“Room was spotless, well appointed and cleaned daily. Towels changed regularly also. Breakfast was repetitive but filling and honest. Happy hour was excellent with some amazing cocktails. The grounds and pool area were beautifully maintained and both quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly and visible at all times, nothing was too much trouble. Location was perfect, handy for the bus stop, Troulos Beach and a plethora of high class restaurants. Groceries and drinks all readily……
