“We loved this house not far from Mt. Rainier. It was quiet and very beautiful. Getting in the hot tub after hiking was amazing. The town of Elbe is only a few minutes away and had a couple of stores to pick up some basics. Make sure you check out the Mt. Rainier webcams before you go to the park. We woke up to a very cloudy day at the house and were going to cancel the Skyline Loop trail but saw on the webcam that the clouds were breaking up there so we went ahead and did the hike. “I made a reservation at a local hotel and realized the night before our stay that I made it for the wrong night. I frantically called every hotel in the area only to find out that everyone was booked. I checked VRBO and found there were only two places left in the area I wanted so I jumped on it. I didn’t have high expectations since it was a good price and one of the last two available but I was only staying one night so I figured what the heck. To my surprise, this place was really nice, clean……

“Easy check-in/out process. Host communicates in a timely manner and left thoughtful notes throughout the house to help guests. We were most appreciative of the help with starting the fireplace! My children loved the games and movies available. Plenty of cozy seating for both individual quiet time and family time. Would stay here again:)”
