“Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though ”

“Hotel reception manager was lovely and helpful during our stay. Room was okay, average and clean enough - though it had a smell (possibly from the bathroom) when we entered so we aired the room out. Downside was how thin the walls were / how loud the other guests were on a Saturday night. The noises kept us up from late evening to around 2am.”

“Our stay here was brilliant from start to finish. Probably the best welcome we’ve had for us and our pet Greyhound Skye. The staff were amazing and very attentive”

“Great location for walking. The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. The pool area with the steam room and sauna although a little worn down was a nice welcome after a hike. The bistro evening menu, food and breakfast were all of a high……

“Yes the room was clean there was many towels soap clean sheets the menu has a variety of food and drinks there are many parking spaces ”

“Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress ”

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“Checking in was really easier, we were shown around and then to our room. If you are going to stay here definitely book the mountain view room "Parc", modern spacious room. The train station is a short walk which is great for getting around. Thank you for a great stay. All staff were really friendly. ”
