Exceptional 3 bedrooms apartment on two levels in a courtyard. Absolute calm. High ceilings, beautiful light with a patio. Ideal address. Refined decoration. The apartment consists of:





 





At the first level







  • A large entrance hall with a tidy.


  • A kitchen in height open on living area, equipped with a fridge, hob, oven, a dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, a toaster, dishes accordingly and kitchenware.


  • A dining area with a table and 6 chairs in the living area.


  • A lounge with two sofas, a coffee table, a carpet, a HD TV, DVD, Ipod speaker, an internet connection. Rear Window.


  • A library area with a desk and two chairs


  • A closed bedroom-living room with a sofa bed for two, a dresser, a rug and chair.






On the lower flevel:







  • A bathroom with bath, wash basin, hairdryer. Separate toile


  • A laundry room with washer, dryer and storage space


  • A master bedroom with a bed of 160 X 200cm, bedside tables, overlooking the patio by a glass wall. A large dressing room with sofa and sink.


  • A separated shower.


  • One bedroom with two single beds, bedside tables. Large dressing room. Room overlooking the patio by windows.






The linen is provided. Electric heater. Iron and ironing board. No smoking.





 





The check in are made without extra cost from Monday to Saturday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., there is an extra 35 € fee. Between 10 p.m. and midnight, there is an extra 50€ fee.





- for an arrival on a Sunday or a public holiday, there is an extra 35 € fee.

very disappointing

i should have read the reviews instead of just looking at the rating- we booked this last minute because our other host just never checked us into the place we were originally staying- i booked without realising there would be a huge multiple thousands deposit. at the check in, we were running about ten minutes late and the host asked us to meet an hour and a half later and then arrived over fifteen minutes late without bothering to inform us. then gave us a tour of the house, which we didn't really want after waiting so long, and left no written instructions for anything and we were unable to use the television during the stay. there were several dead bugs scattered (or splattered on windows and doors) around the house, there was one on top of the washer/dryer that the host surreptitiously tried to flick onto the floor and failed. i don't know how the cleaner would have missed a huge mosquito that had clearly been deliberately squashed on a window in the downstairs bedroom. the downstairs was dark and there was lack of natural light and fresh air. the "courtyard" is basically a basement conservatory. we were given complimentary dishwasher tablets but only two tiny bars of soap for the three sinks and two showers in the flat and not enough toilet rolls. it was overpriced, gross and not comfortably furnished and there was construction work in the rest of the building which was a bit of a hazard as the hallway was poorly lit. the only good thing was the loction

Just not worth the money

Amazing neighborhood, but the apartment was not well kept, musty, and the basement bedrooms were very uncomfortable. There are NOT two bathrooms. There is one (with no windows and the light over the shower was out). There is another “shower” the size of a small phone cabin and no toilet. The apartment was…underwhelming. The furniture reminded me of a sparsely decorated college dorm. Old and worn furniture. Plastic lamp bases. Stained carpet. Paint peeling off the window frames. A view outside of broken glass and dead weeds in the flower box. A large vase of dead flowers was on the coffee table. The chandelier over the table was coated in thick dust and cobwebs. Was it ever cleaned?? The kitchen was tidy and clean. The rest of the house felt grimy. Dust on the railings, caked onto floor boards. The TV was not connected to the cable and they never fixed it while we were there. The internet only works if you are in the living room. There is no A/C and the air downstairs was stale. Plants on the lower “patio” (glasses in, no air) were all dead. Because they took a huge security deposit, we were afraid to complain. Most rentals at this price point have a welcome amenity…We got a paper sandwich bag with two trash bags, a sponge to clean, and a sliver of soap for the shower that was enough for one person for one night. The bedrooms have almost no natural light. Stale air. After 3 nights of bad sleep, we left and went to a hotel. I would not stay here again.

Family Vacation!

Our first trip to Paris, and our first family trip with six siblings (5 girls) and our 85 year old mother. Our brother had an apartment elsewhere. We had a wonderful time, the apartment was great. There was no bathroom on the first floor and that was our only concern with our mom and doing stairs but she's a trooper! The apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood with everything you could want within a 5 minute walk! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property is in a prime location. It is four blocks from the Seine.

The apartment is very comfortable for a group of people. We were 6 adults and there was enough room to comfortably visit and eat together. The only shortcoming is one toilet. There are two showers...

Un excellent séjour

Première réservation à Paris pour ma famille à l'étranger. Ils ont été enthousiastes toute la semaine ,quartier très fréquenté et calme absolu dans l appartement font de cour, bref je conseille à tous ceux qui aiment le centre agité et le calme pour récupérer. L accueil par Romain est chaleureux ,merci à ses présence continuelle . J ajoute que la déco est top ! Je retiens cette adresse.

Große Wohnung, aber Fotos täuschen

Die Lage der Wohnung war top, mitten im Marais. Sie war groß und sauber, aber in einem Hintergebäude gelegen. Die Fotos in der Beschreibung suggerieren eine helle Wohnung mit einem schönen kleinen Freisitz was aber nicht klar war, dass 2 der Schlafzimmer sich im Souterrain befinden und eben auch der sogenannte Freisitz, der sich in Wirklichkeit in einem Art Schacht befindet mit verglasten Dach. Kein Mensch will dort gemütlich ein Glas Wein trinken! Fazit: Größe und Lage gut, usstattung originell.Beschreibung aber irreführend und letztendlich dafür zu teuer

Not the place you want stay in Paris!

This Paris apartment expirience is not you expect by its pictures and description. It looks like you have a bright multi level appartment but your two bedrooms are in basement floor with windows looking only underground patio with lack of fresh air and sunlight. Two bathrooms mentioned but its only one full bathroom with toilet. It's a joke that one additional separate shower and separate sink in the wall are called another bathroom. Pictures made you belive it has two bathrooms which is really misleading. Master bedroom's bed is made of two adjastent beds with so bad matresses that makes your sleep really uncomfortable. Only the dining room is place where you want to be, spacy, large and bright. Kitchen is nice for cooking but sink drain is not keeping with even plain water flow and water is staying there. Internet is DSL so dont expect to stream a much on top of really bad mobile reception. Only good walking location and proximity to metro made our stay a bit convinient in our Paris expirience.

Great choice for an apartment in Paris

The property was not only very charming but in a great location in the middle of Paris. Restaurants, markets and Metro were just a block or less away. We will definitely stay there again.

Great stay in Paris

We had a great time in Paris staying at this lovely 3-bedroom apartment. Kudos to Gregory, who was very flexible on our check-in time as it kept changing due to traffic. He was very nice and welcoming and got us all set up in the apartment with everything we needed to know. The location is excellent! It's one block from the Pompidou Center, and we walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and all around the Marais district. The location is also very convenient because it's a short walk to two different Metro lines, and a slightly longer walk (10 minutes) to the Chatelet metro, from which we went to Versailles and the airport. The apartment has plenty of space, with a big living room/eating area, nice kitchen, and three good bedrooms. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 starts is the wi-fi: It works great in the living room area (300Mb/s), but doesn't work in the bedrooms (we tried with multiple devices - must be a signal problem). If you don't need wi-fi in your bedrooms, no worries, but with two teenage/young-adult children, this was an issue for us. Overall, great apartment in a great location.

Idéal Paris base

Spacious Paris apartment in a central location. Easy for shopping ( baguette and croissants for breakfast ) and restaurants and to walk to many sights, but also near a metro station for visits further afield , which was helpful with children. Our Eurostar train was very delayed but our host was extremely obliging, keeping in touch by text to find out our progress and turning up after 11pm to finally welcome us! Many thanks Grégoire.

The Parisian experience

Our family of 5 stayed here for a few days in July and really liked everything about this chic apartment. The layout and decor was lovely. It made us feel at home in Paris right away. The location is A+ we walked to almost all the sights we wanted to see. It is a great shopping and restaurant district with lots of great cafes everywhere. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Paris Apartment for Families

We travelled to Paris as a family with 3 adults and 2 young kids (2 years old and 5 months) and we are so glad we booked this apartment - absolutely worth the money! The immaculately clean apartment is very trendy with so much living space and three large bedrooms (one upstairs and two downstairs). We had some friends who live in Paris come to visit us and they were amazed at the size of the apartment! Kitchen was modern and well-equipped, good-sized bathroom with bath/shower, separate shower room as well, laundry with washer/dryer. The location of the apartment was perfect, we walked everywhere and were spilt for choice with so many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and shops nearby. The Marais is a lively, trendy area. The apartment is shielded from any street noise given it’s location in the building. I would 100% stay here again if travelling with the family. We were warmly welcomed by Gregory who showed us around and explained how everything worked. Only criticisms are the bathroom definitely needs an exhaust fan - it gets very steamy during showers and given the price, some basic supplies should be provided (sponges, dishwashing liquid/tablets, bin bags). Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location in a fun, roomy apartment

The Duran Duran is a terrific, fun apartment, in a perfect location. The check-in and check-out was easy and efficient. The kitchen was a big plus, as was the extra sink in the MBR. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Paris.

Wonderful apartment

Just as the pictures this apartment is big, clean, and in a great location. I highly recommend. We were greeted on arrival and when I had a question response was prompt. The only complaint I could give was that they don't supply basics like soap etc unless you paid an additional price which I found strange given the price. Everything else was wonderful.

Well appointed, spacious, comfortable in hip neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Duran Duran apartment in Marais 4. Miguel welcomed us upon arrival with tour of apartment and recommendation to use Uber for return to airport. Living space is larger than appears on listing, extra sink in master bathroom was a godsend. Clothing wash/dry machine was fantastic - traveled for four weeks in Spain and France and this was first machine with a dryer function. Our family of five (with three teenagers) was very comfortable. Only detail to suggest is to make the skylight windows in sunroom operable - they were locked - with no air conditioning it would have helped with air flow. We were lucky to not have super warm days but still got a bit stuffy at times. We would definitely return to this apartment for future visits to Paris. Wonderful neighborhood - walking distance to Picasso Museum, great restaurants & boutique shops and several metro stations near by.
