Feeling inspired to write your own magnum opus? Budding writers will certainly find much to admire in a living area that abounds with an artistic sensibility. Statement artwork, vintage furniture and dark wood floors bring an enlightened, eclectic feel to this reposeful space which hosts two armchairs and a coffee table. Nestled under the mezzanine, the kitchen is fully equipped with all key amenities including an oven and washing machine, while the lure of a Nespresso coffee at the breakfast table offers the perfect pick-me-up prior to exploring the scenic streets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

BEDROOMS
Located on the open mezzanine, the first bedroom is adorned with playful portrait art and equipped with a double bed, bedside cabinets, two armchairs and a bookshelf. Situated adjacent to the living room and pared-back in style with soft accent lighting and hardwood floors, the tranquil second bedroom presents a single bed, TV and en-suite bathroom.

I will be objective in this review. What is great first. The best thing about this property is its location. It is close to all the major stuff. Communication with the property hosts is also fantastic and they are flexible. They gave us an extra hour to check out. Now for the cons: As mentioned in the property description, the room with the single bed has the bathroom. The double bed is upstairs. The room with the single bed does not have darkening blinds - so whenever someone enters the building the motion detectors switch on and light floods the room. The other room has blinds, but the transom has no cover. So same issue when someone walks into the building at night. The bathroom has no ventilation and neither does the room with the single bed.Hence a damp musty smell. The stairs to go up to the double bed above are steep and you have to to climb down facing backwards (about 5 inches of the stairs jut out). Not the best thing to do if you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Obviously some of these things are simple and can be taken care of and the location is great.

Cozy, quiet, comfortable and clean apartment. Well-appointed for an extended stay. Nicely decorated. Location was excellent. Close to everything. Will definitely look to stay here again on my next trip to Paris. Check in and out was seemless. Communication with the host was great from start to finish. Merci !!

Bij een zomerse temperatuur is met name de slaapplaats boven de kamer wel erg heet en benauwd. De vin geeft dan onvoldoende koeling. Voor het overige is de ligging in het centrum uitsteken.

Great location!

This apartment is centrally located and short walking distance to many major attractions, shopping and restaurants. It is also very easy to catch to subways and buses with multiple metro stops close by, as well as a taxi stand across the street. This location is truly phenomenal! The property management company is very helpful and responsive. They noticed we had an early flight arrival and offered us to check in early which was huge help! The apartment itself was a squeeze for our party of 3. We stayed for 4 nights and managed fine, but if I was staying a week, I would look for a larger place with more comfortable living room and bathroom placement because there is not very comfortable sitting area and the bathroom is in bedroom with the twin bed. It was clean but very sparely supplied as far as toilet paper, soap, etc., no dish soap nor kitchen towels. We had to buy basic supplies that are commonly provided in other rentals, but with that said I would still recommend the apartment for its great location.

Best location in Saint Germain

We recently spent 5 nights in this cute apartment in Saint Germain. It is in the best location & is located inside a quiet courtyard off the busy street. It was very quiet at night. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you need including washing machine. We stayed during the heat wave however each room had a fan so it was comfortable for sleeping at night. The decor of the apartment is very nice & charming. My only complaint is that the apartment is too cluttered with many extra arm chairs in every room. There literally is nowhere to open up your suitcase and the closets are filled with the owners personal items. There is not a decent hair dryer or a full length mirror and the bathroom is small and dark. Not super important but some women prefer these necessities. We loved the neighbourhood & location so much!! It is the best in Paris!

Apartment is cozy. It is very cluttered with furniture and other stuff which makes it even more cozy. Otherwise it's a nice place to stay. The location in the center of St. Germain des Pres is super and it's quiet.

Great little apartment in a great location

Nice, clean, well appointed apartment in St Germain. We thought the location was perfect! It is a little crowded with furniture in the loft, and the wifi is tucked behind a bed in the lower part so reception in the loft is poor, but otherwise one of our favorite places in Paris to stay. We will definitely look at this for our next trip.

Great location but awkward layout with uncomfortable bed and bathroom inconveniently located

Loved the area but with only one bathroom that's open concept located in main bedroom ,for the person sleeping in loft bedroom they would have to wake up/disturb person in first bedroom as only way to access washroom. Upstairs loft bed is 2 ikea style convertible couches pushed together so large crack in middle. No where to store clothes in second loft bedroom and only 1/4 closet space to use in other bedroom. I think was a bachelor pad that tried to convert to 3 person but didnt work for me. Very high cleaning fee and deposit required for small place. I understand area is generally expensive but this definitely not comfortable for 3 people as advertised to stay in and with steep stairs to loft not kid friendly. We were greated very nicely by Veeve and when I called before leaving were very nice as well but I think this adds to cost as not dealing directly owner.
