Nestled in the historic town of Paris, Virginia, this charming 1820's cottage offers a tranquil retreat. With exposed beams and hardwood flooring, the home still retains its original character. Just minutes from Middleburg and Sky Meadows park, guests can hike along the Appalachian trail or stroll to famous Ashby Inn restaurant.

About this property

Historical cottage in the town of Paris

  • Welcome to my home! This cottage was built in the 1820's in the historical town of Paris, Virginia! With lots of history and character this house still has some of the original exposed beams and hardwood flooring! If you enjoy the outdoors, wineries, breweries, and shopping this is a perfect location for your stay! Minutes from the Appalachian trail, Shenandoah River, Middleburg and Sky Meadows park there’s plenty of hiking around. Famous Ashby Inn restaurant is just a short walk away and many more amazing places!

    This is my personal home, so I do leave a few things in the home but out of your way. Come visit the beautiful town of Paris today!

    As a side note: this is a rural area and sometimes the internet can be spotty. Unfortunately we do not have access to high speed internet out here, but the hotspot I provide I believe does provide you with the best available option. Thank you!

    If you are bringing a pet, please remember to click the "pet" option on checkout. There is a $50.00 charge to bring a pet.

    Please also keep in mind that storms or snow can disrupt power at any point, and unfortunately out of my control. If you do lose power, please contact me as soon as you can so I can get it reported.

The PERFECT stay! We came for the Upperville horse show and you cannot beat the location of this charming cottage. Very Cute Cottage

We were very happy with our stay at this cottage. We're always looking for historic houses to stay in on our trips and this one did not disappoint. The cottage was wonderful! It was so welcoming and truly felt like a home away from home! We enjoyed visiting Hunters Head Tavern in Upperville for dinner and visiting Three Fox's Vineyard. We will definitely be back to enjoy the fire pit and beautiful back yard space.

Beautiful home and location

Will's house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything needed for a great stay. The fireplace was a wonderful addition that I didn't expect, and I really enjoyed drinking my coffee in front of it. Paris is a truly tiny village with some of the most breathtaking views of mountains and valleys anywhere. The "golden hour" there can't be beat!

Cozy, small house that is close to the mountains & hiking. Sky Meadows State Park is very close; the ridge above includes the AT. Civilization vis a vis Middleburg, Marshall, and Purcellville are all within a pleasant, half-hour drive. Eating in the screened-in porch was great!

Lovely weekend getaway

This was a perfect spot for us to spend a long weekend. It was a quaint home in a lovely little neighborhood very close to the Ashby Inn. Had everything we needed. A comfy bed, working kitchen, lovely porch - 2 actually - and good sitting areas indoors as well. We did a few hikes in Sky Meadows, visited bakeries, and orchards. Great place to call home for a few days.

Such a pretty, historic area. The house was really perfect, lovely decor, very comfy big bed, fun loft, lovely screened porch. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at your home. It was far nicer that I'd expected and just perfect for a short getaway. Quiet, comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Upperville and Middleburg, and large property. Besides the house, the back yard, sitting area, and even the side porch were easy and enjoyable to use. I hope to be back.
