In the former Couvent des Minimes and its courtyard-garden, 2 mn away from the Place des Vosges, 5mn from Musée Picasso. 30m from one of the best bakeries of the capital for your morning croissants. Your apartment, luxurious and quiet, is composed of a living room with south-facing picture window with two sofas, including a comfortable sofa bed, armchairs, chairs, table-desk, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, CD player. Magnificent fully equipped kitchen: oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge in front of a grill opening on the living room. Bedroom with south-facing picture window with large double bed, one bathroom in roman style, toilet, bathtub, shower. Laundry room with washing machine and clothes lines. Guests toilets.

Charming, good location, great restaurants. Thank you for supplying ear plugs for city noise at night. Full bath area needs tightening of railing. There was no dryer for our clothes. The concierge Teresa was very helpful with a warm welcome.

The host met us at arrival and also gave us nearby recommendations that were fantastic. She was lovely and checked on us the second day.The apartment is fully equipped in the kitchen and also with a washer/dryer and clothes drying rack.The bed is firm but comfortable. The location is super convenient to a very good cafe, Cafe des Musees, a grocery store, bakery and pharmacy.

Wonderful stay in the 3rd

We had a wonderful week staying at this charming apartment in the 3rd - it ideally located close to food, shopping and transportation. Having a well-stocked kitchen was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy cooking food from beautiful locat markets on Rue des Bretagnes. Having laundry available in the apartment was also very convenient. I would absolutely be thrilled to stay again.

Lovely flat in the heart of Le Marais

This beautiful flat is in an excellent location, not far from the Bastille. It is walkable to many sites and excellent restaurants. The owner was very communicative, helpful and pleasant. The flat is beautifully appointed, clean, and with a well-equipped kitchen and washer. We were there during a terrible heat wave, and Elizabeth made certain to check on our comfort. I highly recommend this flat if you plan to explore the beauty of Paris.

Perfect location and friendly, responsive owner

Elisabeth's apartment had just the right amount of space for the two of us for a 9-night stay in this special city. Very comfortable living room and cute kitchen, one large bathroom along with a guest toilet. The bedroom is very pleasant, but probably ready for a new mattress. The location could not be better, just a few blocks from the Seine, restaurants everywhere, great window shopping and we we found ourselves at the Place des Vosges whenever we had "down time." So beautiful! Elisabeth and Teresa were both very helpful. We would definitely return to this address.

Fabulous Doesn’t Do It Justice

What an amazing experience we had. Our VRBO was incredible and our hostess even better. We got in early, but were able to store our gear until the check in time thanks to the hospitality of our hostess. The apartment itself was gorgeous and it is in the midst of the action near to shopping, restaurants and cafes, and lots of tourist attractions. We immediately felt at home in the neighborhood and can’t wait to return.

Great location, great property

The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and public transportation. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. We were very happy. We did have trouble getting on the WiFi; the system had been updated and we needed a new password, but it was straightened out and then worked fine. The master bathroom would be difficult for someone with mobility issues as the toilet and shower are up some steps and the shower requires stepping down into a sunken tub after going up the steps, but it worked fine for us. We, a mother and adult daughter, loved it and would stay here again.

A wonderful Parisian apartment

The apartment is in a perfect location in the 4th, close to everything. The building is lovely, and the apartment is spotless and very well appointed. Communication with the owner was easy and all questions were resolved.

True Parisian experience

The set up and decor is very quaint. Who doesn't love a red sofa! The amenities and American coffee pot were great. Paper products, pantry items much appreciated. The kitchen table was a lovely way to start each day with breakfast. A restaurant right next door where we enjoyed a dinner was fabulous. Went back for a Sunday brunch takeout as well. Wish the television/cable had worked; we are upset about that. The manager was lovely but could only speak French and Portuguese; although it worked out with Google Conversation. The two dyson portable a/c units worked well. My recommendation would be to have tv and washing machine instructions in English. A main reason for renting this unit was the additional powder room I wanted for makeup and hair. It did not have a mirror which would be great addition. The towels although nice colors and plenty of them were very hard and needs softening. There is only a neighborhood street view but that was ok. A picturesque and secure building entry into a beautiful courtyard. The elevator is a short flight up a few stairs. The ensuite bathroom was as pictured and described. We quickly got used to the bathroom steps and the handrails were secure and aplenty. Walking distance to Chez Janou, Place des Vosges and Victor Hugo's home. Highly recommend if you wish to have a central Paris experience off the beaten path, not touristy and in a quieter neighborhood. Elisabeth puts much love into her rental apt.
