Near the Rue de Bretagne, the Marché des Enfants Rouge, the Carreau du Temple, Beaubourg and Place des Vosges. In the heart of trendy restaurants and shops. Very pleasant to live in, overlooking a small street and a courtyard (double glazed windows), equipped with high-end equipment. 3 Metro stations: Arts et Métiers, République, Temple

2 room apartment of 45m2, on 2 levels, renovated 2018 and luxuriously decorated, very quiet, on the ground floor, overlooking a very pretty interior courtyard, and on a very quiet little street
- the living room: There is a convertible sofa for one person, 2 armchairs, a sofa bed for 2 people, a coffee table, a round table and 4 chairs, a storage unit, on which are placed HST, wifi box, books on paris
- the kitchen: Open to the living room, fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, hob, microwave / oven, Nespresso, coffee maker, teapot, toaster, blender, and everything you need for cooking.

Over the stay was fine. Beds were comfortable, and lots of space for a family of 3. Loved the location, easy to feel like a local, lots of cafes and close to the metro. Host was very quick with communication. The shower and bathroom needs some cleaning or renovation work, lots of mold build up in the shower and around the bathroom. Shower also didn't drain properly. Property itself was very damp, so likely contributed to the mold growth. Also found some areas a bit dusty, dirty, or just not functioning quite right. Finally, no real natural light so it is a bit dark. If you like to get up with the sun, it's not the place for you Overall, stay was fine, area great, property needs work.

Restful space in a perfect location

This property is a hidden gem in the middle of a vibrant Parisian neighborhood within walking distance of all the museums we wanted to visit, to the Seine and Notre Dame, restaurants, galleries, and with stores and amenities literally everywhere. We had ample space for a family of three on two levels with a washer and dryer that allowed us to pack very light for our week-long vacation. The kitchen and dining area meant we could enjoy eating "at home" as we chose to (which was not often!). Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, we felt very comfortable in the apartment at the end of our long days of walking. We were a little surprised by the location of the apartment as it opened directly onto the street, but because it is not a major thoroughfare, we soon got used to it and even felt a little more like members of the neighborhood. We hope that we have the opportunity to return there soon.

Paper towels and toilet paper were in short supply, resupplied by tenet. Refrigerator repair man arrived unannounced along with an unidentifiable woman. Television would not connect with signal feed sources did not work.

Goed appartement vlakbij metro station..

Goede plek om Parijs te bezoeken. Vlak bij metro en restaurantjes in de nabijheid. Appartement is goed. Slaapkamer in souterrain voelt wat benauwd aan. Staat constant een anti condens te draaien. Derde bed op gelijkvloers is niet erg comfortabel. Lakenset daarvan was niet krakend schoon. Al met al wel aan te bevelen om op een leuke manier Parijs te bezoeken!

Location great, definite issues

The property is advertised as having two bathrooms. It has one little room with just a toilet, another room with a sink and shower. That is one bathroom spread over two rooms. The bedroom in the basement is very musty although a dehumidifier runs 24/7. It says four can sleep in the unit. We could not find bedding for a second bed and were told, well you only told us two were coming so we didn't think you would use the other bed. I have never had a host make a decision on how many beds I would use. As many as are advertised should be available. When I asked for bedding we were directed to a duvet that had been put away wet in the musty basement and was unusable, and there were no sheets. Eventually we were given fresh sheets and a clean blanket and the musty duvet was taken away, at our insistence. The location is what saves this listing.

A great base

A wonderful location with easy access to eateries, transport and the Marais. The apartment is very well set up and ideal as a base for a relaxed stay in Paris with comfortable furnishings, room to spread out, practical cooking and dining facilities, and a good laundry set up. The host communicated promptly and was helpful.

After reading a review about mold in the property, we were a bit worried. However, there is no mold in the property. It is excellent. Very clean. There was plenty of soap, shampoos, toilet paper, soap for the washing machine etc etc. Wonderful location close to everything would certainly go back. The only problem we had was the TV didn't work

Downtown Paris Stay

The host here is very nice and communicated well but the property while being very well located lacks the upkeep it should have to host regular guests. Lack of cleanliness and supplies such as Laundry soap for the washer, toilet paper (had to buy some), As well as paper towels The rooms get very hot with only one fan to share between levels. Bed sheets were awfully rough with no spares and towels were thin. Overall the place has a serious mold issue and being allergic to this it really smelled very moldy and it was always wet in the basement area and had that strong odor, Television did not work and there were no directions on how to use it Overall the experience was ok but not a place we would book again unless these items were resolved

Great area, needs more attention

The area of the place was great, very walkable, safe and plenty of boulangeries, cafes and markets. The check-in instructions are pretty straight forward, only had trouble opening the jammed lock to obtain the key. The apartment didn't have much ventilation and doesn't have air conditioning. The TV didn't work for us and there were no instructions from the owner on how to work the TV. We would have appreciated a welcome kit with water, list of best local spots, instructions on how to use washer/dryer and better quality of shower items. There was only and old and used bottle of body wash and shampoo. We were only given a roll and half of toilet paper. There was no laundry detergent either. The sheets and pillows on the 1st floor looked dirty and used. The bedroom on the bottom floor was clean. The refrigerator didn't look too clean either. Overall, I paid a decent price for the area and the space of the apartment.
