"Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

"My daughter and I stayed on the bottom floor of the home only. The beds were quite comfy, the shower was great and there afequate room for a short stay. Owner was accessible, but the process was so simple, I really didnt need to contact him much. Very pleased. Thank you, David"

"Loved being on the lake! Family of ducks kept us entertained. Brand new dock right out our front door. Everything was clean. Very reasonable and comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating to our needs. This property is close to town, and not far from the waterpark and brewery/winery. A great time was had by all 4 generations! ❤️"

"The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. "We (11 of us) had a great time at this property on Lake Darling. We caught sunfish off of the dock, the kids enjoyed playing in the water around the dock. We rented a pontoon from Lake Darling Resort, grilled, had a couple campfires. Weather was great as well. The only downsize is the busy road that the property is located on, could hear the traffic, but we spent all of our time on the lake side."
