「This property is overall fairly comfortable and well maintained but definitely dated. Rooms are quite small although our king room was fine for two people. Pool and hot tub not working for reasons unknown.. Breakfast was actually quite substantial for an establishment like this. Honestly, shocked by the high price of this room in this area. Mediocre value for something seriously in need of updating. Staff was friendly, check-in was fast and seamless.」

「Horrible experience! Restaurant food was horrible, waiter said the pizza was homemade- it was a frozen pizza that came on a cardboard tray. Fire alarm was going off early in the morning for hours without an end in site. Place was dirty and outdated! We were in town for a wedding and our rooms weren’t ready. Outside bar wasn’t open on a beautiful Friday, why have an outdoor bar on a lake if you’re not going to have it open. I will not be staying here again.」

「The room was spotless, smelled wonderful and was nice and cool on a hot day. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and I was able to move around the room easily. The bathroom was huge with an accessible shower. They offered what looked like a great breakfast but we needed to leave. We will absolutely stay again, highly recommend.」

「Breakfast contained no protein, no fruit. Just pancakes and cereal. Pool and jacuzzi were closed and apparently you will be closed for the next two weeks. Fridge in the room was not cold and our food was warm in the morning. There was left over food in the fridge from the prior occupant. The paint in the tub was pealing off. There was a white coating over the drain. The road to the hotel, was broken up and full of pot holes. You had to be careful. The hanging baskets outside were...

「The staff were fine. Did not interact with them other than to check in and check out. Room was absolutely disgusting! I had to clean the shower before we could use it and I still wore my flip flops. I would not let my family take their shoes off at all and walk on the carpet. The bathrooms have not been properly cleaned in I’m not sure how long! The walls need to be scrubbed! It looks like people have rubbed things on them and the cleaners have completely ignored the spots. The bathroom...

「This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. 」
