「My girlfriend and I come every year around this time to get our flowers for summer planting. This was our first time staying at Fan+Carl's beautiful cottage! First of all they both were so kind, inviting and helpful. The property was beautiful and the accomodations were wonderful. We had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be back again! 「This location was a great spot for a quiet weekend with an old friend and little boys. We had plenty of space and the boys slept late after doing laps on the stairs to chase paper airplanes. The boys enjoyed saying hello to the goats and cows on the property. The house was close to the Strausburg Railroad and the Train Museum, both good day trips.」

「Swallow's Rest West was just delightful, and the perfect base for our visit to Longwood Gardens. It was so creatively decorated, had all the amenities needed, and was clean and comfortable. Our host Henry was wonderful. Only thing I would have changed was having an operating window on the upper floor, to let in some fresh, cool air at night. But this was just a minor issue. I would still highly recommend this property.」
