"We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Head of the Pond in Water Mill, and I cannot say enough about the experience, particularly the care and attention brought by Monika, the owner. We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage by the pond, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this property is operated at a level far beyond a typical bed and breakfast. The cottage was in pristine condition—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities you would expect from a fine hotel. Every detail felt intentional. What truly set this stay apart was the fully stocked kitchen, complete with an abundant supply of quality food and drinks. It’s a level of generosity and hospitality you rarely encounter. These are the kinds of touches that guests remember and that bring them back. Monika clearly runs this property with pride and integrity. "We are from out of town and had a wedding to attend in Bridgehampton. We decided to rent this cute home because of it's location (which was excellent) and we liked the fact that each of the three bedrooms had it's own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are quite large and comfortable. The third bedroom is considerably smaller but had a queen bed and still fit our needs.A short 8 minute walk puts you right into the town of Southhampton with great shopping and restaurants. Both days we walked to the beach to get exercise. It's a little over 1.5 miles each way. Our host, Pam was very accommodating and responsive. We loved how there were many thoughtful details throughout the house to make her guests feel comfortable. She had a stocked coffee bar area, extra toiletries, hair dryers, multiple irons, equipment for games and activities etc. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"We rented this beautiful home for our son's Wedding Weekend in Southampton and it could not have been more perfect! The house is so spacious, beautifully updated, well appointed and sparkling clean. We were able to enjoy the outdoor space, the pool and the deck area. The property is spectacular, private and so peaceful. I would highly recommend this property and would rent it again ."
