“A very basic motel. The price doubled over the Thanksgiving long weekend, and while the experience certainly didn't double, there were really limited options available,so I stayed for one night. On the positive side, the room was fairly clean. The towels had a faint smell of bleach, which actually gave me peace of mind knowing they were properly washed, and I have no issue using them. “The expedia app is unable to resize the rating page so the text was too large i was only able to see 4 stars / i couldnt tab on the 5th star. Overall good stay. We appreciate having the kitchen however the last guests left the dishes a bit greasy despite looking clean. We didn’t bring dishwasher tablets so did some dishwashing before we could start cooking. It would make everyone’s time easier if the host can leave some dishwasher detergent in the house. Other guests would also be more willing……

“Lovely resort located on beautiful Lake Rousseau. The lakeside view from the hotel is spectacular especially in the fall. The room was clean, spacious and lead to a balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast (included with your stay) offered both hot and cold items in a spacious buffet dining room. I would definitely recommend staying at Windermere House.”
