"It looks like a 60's motel from the outside but dont let that fool you. The rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. The owner is on site, friendly and attentive. Pets are allowed for $10 each. We were having our RV repaired at Kansas RV Center and had no problem extending our stay for an additional day. Walmart and Tractor supply close and some good restaurants a short drive away. Owner said it will be changed to a Sonesta brand next year. "

"This place did the trick for an overnight stay. It was actually very clean. We had booked a room with 2 beds and when we checked in, our room only had one bed. They quickly changed us out. The air conditioner worked perfectly and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. We've stayed in Chanute several times between our travels between Omaha and Tulsa but this is the first time at this motel. We will definitely come back again. "
