"This inn was beautiful. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Even the dog, Alice, warmed up nicely to us. (She stays outside but welcomes you home with a wagging tail). The room was pleasant and the building is solidly built. No mosquitos or ants which was refreshing because most places in Thailand have issues with these pests. "This place is very beautiful and rather quiet but it is EXTREMELY difficult to get any sort of transportation here. It is located on top of a very steep hill and no mobile taxi service will come here. The hotel can call you a car but it will be very expensive and take at least an hour to arrive. "We booked this resort on Valentines 2019. A total of 6 rooms with 13 of us for two night. We got there almost midnight on Feb 13th. We’re notice, no one stay at this place only us. This place is completely haunted. Three of the room got haunted on first night. The second night, on of our friend got possessed by ghost. Only one hotel staff, at night time for the whole place. "Picked the grand room and it was very dirty. Smelled bad and obvious stains all over the floors, walls, couch and windows. Screen in the bathroom had tons of smushed bugs all over it they never bothered to wipe clean. Mold and mildew all over the bathroom fixtures from neglect. Also very very cold at night in the mountains with no in room heating and just a single thin blanket. Checked out after just one night of a 3 night stay because of the terrible conditions and they refused to refund...

"Loved our stay at Phuoobfa Resort, the people that run it are so lovely. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel welcome. They even got us a gift at the end of our stay which was so kind. Our bungalow was clean and big, we got fresh towels and there smokes everyday really brightened our mood. Will be back for sure!"
