Eagle Nest Lakefront: 120-Ft Panoramic View, Private Dock, Kayak & Porch

Set directly on Lake Wallenpaupack, this lakefront retreat sleeps up to nine and keeps the water at the center of your stay. Enjoy 120-foot panoramic lake views, an on-property dock, tandem kayak, screened porch, fenced yard, firepit, grill, and comfortable outdoor seating.

The home has three enclosed bedrooms plus an open sleeping area (loft). The upstairs is split into two separate wings reached by two different staircases: one staircase from the dining room leads to the two private queen en-suite bedrooms (Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2), while a second staircase from the living room leads to the other wing with a full bathroom and sleeping space for five (Bedroom 3 and the open two-twin sleeping area). Two queen suites each have a private full bathroom. Bedroom 3 has one queen and one twin bed. The open sleeping area has two twin beds and no door. Important: guests in Bedroom 3 cross this open area to reach the adjacent bathroom, so it offers less privacy than an enclosed bedroom. Five mini-split AC units cool the entire home—one in each of the three private bedrooms, one in the upstairs two-twin loft, and one in the main-level living room—with the open layout from the loft and living room cooling the kitchen and dining room as well.

The full kitchen includes a dishwasher, kettle, drip coffee maker, cookware, dishes, full-size appliances, and an in-unit washer and dryer. Coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent are provided, along with liquid hand soap and liquid body wash in the bathrooms. Both the living room and kitchen open directly onto the screened porch—the living room through mahogany sliding doors and the kitchen through mahogany French doors. Wi-Fi and four Roku TVs make downtime easy, and a travel crib is available for younger guests.

Outside, relax on the screened porch or deck, gather around the firepit, grill a meal, or head down to the water. A tandem kayak, paddles, and life jackets are provided. The dock is on the property and is reached by two flights of outdoor stairs; lake access is not step-free.

Parking includes a dedicated trailer space plus adjacent overflow parking. The driveway and turnaround are tight for boat trailers; guests towing should add their total vehicle-and-trailer dimensions to the reservation after booking.

The home has two private entrances. A car is required, and rideshare service should not be relied upon for local transportation. Responsive hosts live next door and are available if needed while respecting your privacy.

Up to two dogs are welcome for a fee of $85 per dog. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarette use are permitted outdoors only and never inside. Linens, bath towels, toilet paper, liquid hand soap, liquid body wash, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and coffee filters are supplied; please bring beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, and other personal toiletries.
