"This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at the Hayward. The rooms are comfortable and I like the way the hotel has been redone; it looks like it may have been built in the 60’s and they respect the eras aesthetic without being campy. The bed was comfortable, I wish they had higher toilets in regular rooms (old knees and surgeries but…). The best part was the very much above average food in the bar and the fantastic drinks. Really top notch bartending. "

"Absolutely fabulous staff! This hotel is a great find - little things that make a difference. No loose power outlets, quiet HVAC, good quality food at breakfast with paper dishes and not styrofoam. Had a great sleep here."
