Escape from the culture of consumerism

This lovely facility will certainly help you disconnect from the static of civilization. It is immaculately clean, and a great location. Please note that there is no TV or Wi-Fi.

Beautiful Country Cottage

Lovely cottage in a quiet island, country setting. Very private and enjoyable. We toured the island and checked out the sites, including the winery. All the basics are available on the island. Little swimming beaches are scattered around. I highly recommend this location!

The Little Cottage With It All

Amongst Friends is a quaint, lovely cottage in a great location. In the past it was a small bakery where we often stopped for delicious just-baked items along with friendly greetings from the owners and staff. Last week, when we turned the key and opened the door to find it completely redone into a comfortable cottage, the memories of tantalizing bakery aromas and the delicious baked goods made it extra special. With a fully stocked kitchen, large living/dining area, 2 lovely bedrooms and bathroom with shower, Amongst Friends was perfect for us. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio that overlooked a large backyard filled with songbirds, and I will add that the neighbors were very welcoming! We look forward to booking another stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Amongst Friends. The cottage was well organized and well equipped. The location was great for us. We were pleased to have comfy and cozy beds after our day of cycling. Thank you for hosting our family.

Return Visit

A wonderful cottage, surrounded with trees full of songbirds. Conveniently located on Pelee Island...the ferry, restaurants, the marina and co-op are a short bike ride away. We loved our stay at Amongst Friends so much that we booked again this year!

Overall a very good experience. The only issue was that there was no tv or wifi as advertised in the listing. However this was not a make or nreak issue for us, it just wouldve been nice to have access to on our poor weather days that led to lounging around and not spent at the beach. The cottage was nice, clean and fit the whole family well. The pull put couch is not made for an over 6' guy so we had to do some sleep arrangement shuffling but no big deal. The kitchen had all the tools needed to make good food which is probably most important for my family.Checkin and checkout process could not have been easier.All in all we had a great week and would return again. Thanks for the use of your great property.
