View of the harbor was nice. Queen beds were comfortable Bathroom was clean. Parking was close-by. Attached dining was very good, served by friendly staff. Good place to stay after the ferry ride.

Super convenient location close to the ferry. Ethan at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Gale's served good food quickly and at an affordable price. The parking lot was small for a property this size. There wasn't much counter space in the bathroom. Overall, though, it was good.

The room was very comfortable. The only issue is that there is no elevator and no assistance was available to get luggage to the second floor. Also, the front desk clerk didn't know how to charge 1 room to the credit card on file and a 2nd room to a different credit card.

The property was comfortable and clean however the room we stayed in could use updated furniture. One wing back chair in an area that could use a small sofa and coffee table. They could easily put in another queen size bed. Otherwise, the property was perfect for the weekend and we will return.

The staff at this hotel are consistently and exceptionally friendly and helpful but the hotel needs a lot more than just a coat of paint. Doors don’t close properly, bathrooms need an update, curtains are from the 70’s and include the preformed ripples. The bedding has been updated but the furniture is no newer than the 90’s. In many places the wallpaper was starting to peel off the wall and the towel racks are ready to fall.

The walls are paper thin. One night both my husband and I were awakened during the night. After an hour of hearing the party next door I called the front desk at 3:34 am. The desk clerk did go to the room and the loud noise stopped. The bathroom was inadequate and uncomfortable.

Property was clean but bathroom so small no counter space we could not keep our toiletries in the bathroom, no space to hang our towels. The pool area and showers needs some love, it is very outdated and not too clean. The restaurant (Gales) just awful we had fried chicken on our arrival , all it was fried batter and hardly any chicken, very bland, no dipping sauce, no veggies . Breakfast the next day was just has bad. No fresh eggs (some kind of liquid egg mixture, side order of berries 2$ each kind of berries ( 2 strawberries cut in half for $2 and 6 and I mean 6 blueberries for 2$) highway robbery. Staff was nice and polite, but will not go back

We celebrated our 28 year anniversary by staying at Rodd Grand! We enjoyed everything there! We heard beds were uncomfortable and I can say our room had very comfortable beds.. we plan to visit again and stay there again!
