This is an older facility set in among palm and banana trees. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the place has a very serene feel. Rooms were large and generous with porches on two sides. Would happily return.

I had stayed here before Covid, and was impressed by the renovations they’ve done. The property grounds are beautiful, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet each morning came with unlimited fresh fruit, pancakes, and Indonesian foods. Will always stay here if in Penida.

No reception area to talk to any staff. I left notes in the room to fix things and no repairs or responses from staff during our stay of 3 nights and 4 days. All of these amenities did not work when we checked in and they were notified and not repaired: Shower faucets not working and hot and cold not consistent. Temperature of water would not stay on a certain temp. Shower moldy. House phone in our room never worked, therefore we could not talk or call for help or to fix things. Television is really old, small screen, and lines and poor reception with only 2 of the 12 channels working tat are listed on the TV card station list in our room. TV constantly flickered and messages on cards yellow constantly moving, weird. Refrigerator not cold. Entrance door to room is broken, off plane and would not open all the way as the bottom of the door catches the floor and is hung wrong. Safe is a joke. Safe is very small and is not affixed to anything and you can lift it and carry it out of the room.It weighs about 2 pounds and i put it on top of the closet as it was unusable. This was not a value and can not recommend this property until they improve conditions. It =has potential but is poorly managed.

The room was huge, clean, clean linens and towels. Yummy breakfast and lovely staff. The owner was amazing, she helped us to take a cab to the harbor with fair price.

Worth it
Nice hotel a bit away but still have good places to get food and drink. Very comfortable and quiet. The power went out on island and they had power generator up and running within a minute. Very nice staff. Can’t go wrong here.

Great stay in Nusa Penida!
Our stay was lovely! We checked in after a lonnnng journey from the Gili Islands and were greeted by big smiles. Since we were unable to get to Nusa for 4 days due to weather, we waited until we actually arrived on the island to book, so it was very last minute...we arrived maybe 30 minutes after confirming the booking on hotels.com. We had reserved a deluxe room with a king bed, and when they didn't have any available, they graciously upgraded us to a king-size bungalow room. The property is pretty quiet, but you are able to walk to restaurants on the main street if you don't fancy the hotel's restaurant. (It's walking distance to the amazing Penida Colada which we highly recommend too!) The pool is awesome - super large and the lounge chairs are spread out so it feels like you have your own space (although the pool didn't really ever get crowded, we always had it to ourselves). The bed is really comfortable, good quality linens and pillows. Wifi works really well for an island in SEA, the TV has a bunch of channels, the shower gets hot and the room is very large with a small fridge if you want to make things cold. The AC took a while to cool the room down, but eventually it made it so cold we had to turn it off. Breakfast has a couple different options - eggs, toast, fresh fruit, pancakes, and fried noodles with options of coffee, tea, and water. Overall, we had a great stay! Special thanks to Utik the manager who went above and beyond to make us smile!

Comfortable stay
Great pool, the rooms are large and has tv which is nice! The bathroom we were in had termites but it was taken care of right away. The bathroom smelled like must. The pillows were a little moldy inside (not the case). But comfortable. The hotel is in a great location right across from The Penida Colada a great restaurant which we ate at almost every night. The service is amazing and the host is so helpful! The breakfast is great - Get the French toast!

Perfect Nusa Penida getaway
Very large bungalow rooms. Quiet location with large grounds and a refreshing pool. Well located in Ped, walkable to the beach and many eateries. Accommodating, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was Fantastic. The service was amazing and the staff are very friendly. If possible get a Bungalow as it is one of the best priced rooms on the island with privacy. No one was near us at all!

The staff here is so friendly and accommodating. Since my friend and I had checked in late they greeted me by name although they didn’t actually know who I was when I arrived showing they had been eagerly waiting my arrival. The breakfast is delicious and the room is spacious. Amazing value and great service. My 2nd time staying here and when I go to Nusa Penida in the future will try to stay here again.

Great overnight stay
We booked this hotel for 1 night during a fishing trip. The online photos looked great. On first impressions the driveway didn’t give the impression you were staying at a nice place. Got to the end, checked in and dropped my bag at the room which was spacious, clean, neat and tidy. Had all the amenities you need. The food was nice and the beer was cold. My only comment is they definitely need a vehicle to transport their guests to and from the boat landing. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

Our trip to Nusa Penida got off to an awful start because of this hotel. First of all be aware that when you get off the boat, if the hotel does not provide a shuttle you're going to get robbed. 200k to drive 2km to the hotel. When we got to the hotel they couldn't find our reservation. We showed them the hotels.com app and our confirmation emails but because they didn't have an email on their side they wouldn't recognise our reservation? We were standing at reception for almost an hour while the staff did NOTHING. We asked to speak to a manager and were told the manager would be there in a few hours. Eventually we got through to hotels.com and miraculously at the same time the staff found the email of our reservation on his computer. No apologies offered and we still had to wait another 30 mins to check in with absolutely no explanation. When we got to the room there were no towels. We were not shown around the room at all. The bathroom had a smell like bad drainage. We had quite a few cockroaches, spiders and lots of mosquitos in the room. The AC was weak and during the day the staff turn it off when you're not there so you get home to an oven. We were never told the breakfast times, so we missed breakfast the first day. The second day we went and the food was very basic. All the condiments were empty. Breakfast finished at 10, another guest arrived at 10:04 and was told she would have to pay for a cup of coffee? Its like the staff here have no common sense?

Good base for exploring the island
Overall was good,not much expectation for small island hotel,price is very reasonable we got what we paid for. Room is big,comfy and water pressure was ok. Breakfast is enough to start the day, few restaurants across the street by the water. Pool was nice to chill. Definitely can be cleaner on the hotel ground, but it’s not filthy, just dry leaves. For a short stay exploring this island 2nights is enough to see the whole island, by car or motorbike just enjoy the view from the top, but if u thinking to go to each beach steep walk down and up and relaxing,I think you need at least 3-4nights. This hotel Location is a very good base. Hotel staff can arrange bikes rental and tour and car driver etc what you need,their price is the same like you would get anywhere else on the island so I highly recommend their service we called the hotel book ahead our motorbikes and transfer, they were quick to respond. Good service.

I’m convinced this is the best resort on Nusa Penida. This is still a pretty rural island, so this was perfect. Only a few minutes from the harbor and only a minute or so away from the best restaurant on the island, Penida Colada. Great property, comfy rooms with updated bathrooms. They even woke up 45 minutes early to have an early breakfast (5:45) waiting for me and my husband before our day of adventure. I will stay here again if we ever return to Nusa Penida.

Amazing hotel!
This is such a beautiful place! The staff goes beyond their dutys! Super easy communication and very very helpful! Jummy food and drinks. Breakfast has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay at ring samaton.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge. In der Nähe sind ausreichend Gelegenheiten zum Essen und ein Strand. Die Einrichtung der Bungalows ist großzügig und zweckmäßig. Der Service, insbesondere an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit. Wir waren 4 Nächte dort, absolut zu empfehlen.

Animal friends, blood-stains and mold.
Good location, but other than that this place does not deserve it’s high reviews. When we arrived nobody greeted us and when we eventually found somebody they took us to our room (no 4), which was a dump. Mold everywhere in the bathroom, mostly under the sink and all over the showerhead. They obviously hadn’t cleaned the room since there was no 2 residue in the toilet, footprints and hair all over the floor and bloodstains on the sheets. To top that off, the back-door had a large gap the width of a remotecontrol which led to several types of friends to join us in our room such as ants and lizards. When we asked to change room they at least let us, which wasn’t much of an upgrade except a quick attempt of them to sweep the floor and the fact that the gap in the door wasn’t as bad. Would not recommend!

Goed voor een kort verblijf
Wij hebben een leuk verblijf gehad in het hotel. Het hotel is zeer ruim opgezet. Hier en daar kan het wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken, ook de tuin ligt er wat verwilderd bij. Het zwembad is erg groot voor Balinese normen. Jammer dat de standaardkamers geen balkon hebben. Het ontbijt is geen buffet zoals aangegeven en vonden wij echt niet lekker.
