「This newly remodeled home was perfect for our family. There were four of us but there was room for two more to sleep. Everything was so clean! We loved the fact that the owner immediately responded when we had questions. The house is walking distance to the cute main street in Big Stone Gap and there are lots of beautiful hiking paths in the nearby mountains. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country...

「What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! 」

「The loft is absolutely perfect! It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to food or shopping or any other activity you have in mind. It is immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The owner checked on us to make sure we arrived safe and to see if we needed anything at all. Check in and out was a breeze. I highly recommend this property if you are in the Harlan area. We will definitely be booking again for next years festival...
