We absolutely loved our stay in Bumblebee Nook - home from home in every way. Brilliant location for discovering the shores of Ullswater and Lowther Castle - a short drive away. The autumnal colours and picture postcard weather made for a stunning stay in the Lake District. We very much hope to return. This is a cottage with great attention to detail, good quality furnishings and simply a lovely place to be. We had a warm welcome from the owner too. We highly recommend visiting.

The owners provided a folder filled with up to date local information which we found very helpful. Location wise this was a great base for exploring the Northern Lakes and surrounding areas. I stayed over the Easter holidays with my 2 children and had a brilliant time. Its a great holiday home, that is spotlessly clean with everything you could need. A short car ride away to Ullswater for boat trips and walks. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming, offering handy tips about the local area. We would certainly go back for a 2nd visit.
