Location in the village, a short walk from Quirky Workshops - a course there was the main purpose of our stay. The village pub is close by, with excellent food. The post office opposite was available for daily papers ans food essentials. The cottage was clean, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. T V and a log burner made it a cosy hideaway for an autumn break. Prompt attention to radiators reported faulty.
There was no access to the garden so I wouldn’t want to stay there in summer. There was only enough fuel for the first night. Had we known we could have brought logs with us. It’s difficult to please everyone in terms of equipping a kitchen, but we would have appreciated a tea strainer and egg cups, a cover for food in the microwave
