“Despite having confirmation from both Orbitz and the property, our condo had been double booked to someone else, and we were out of luck upon arrival. Everyone pointed the finger at someone else and we were left to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. This was our first time trying a condo instead of a hotel. Not a great success!”

“I found the Portofino to be such a special place. Very much a resort as opposed to a hotel with many amenities. Can't wait to return during the Summer.”

“We ended up here after not such a great experience from a place down the road but la quinta was fantastic! Coffee & breakfast was great, we were able to check in early which we appreciated so much & the front desk was very friendly! Will be adding this to our place to stay in fort Walton”

“This was our first time staying at this property and we had a great time it's been 10 years since we've been to fort Walton Beach and everything is still the same the front desk guys were awesome and the checkout girl Morgan was great everything is within walking distance and a 5-minute ride up the road if you want to go to Destin I highly recommend this place”

“Excellent value for the price! Right on a marina and plenty of pontoon rental companies in walking distance. Multiple restaurants within walking distance and a walk to downtown shopping is doable. The room itself had a good sized refrigerator and a Keurig coffee machine. The bedding was crisp and clean and the room itself was exceptionally clean. I only gave it a 4 star rating on the condition because the tub handle fell off when I tried to take a shower. I would love to stay here again.”

“The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, cold air, friendly staff and well lit property. Parking lot and some of the outside area had cigarette butt litter, but that was the only con I found.This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely stay again. ”
