Location

The location is as advertised - across the street from the Florabama. However, we did not realize that you must drive a mile down the road to public beach #4 for beach access. Thankfully, we were there during the off-season, and we found parking at the beach access easily each day. This could be a hassle if you stay during the high season.Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the proximity to the Florabama and Waffle House.

Great place!

Neighborhood was great for children. Other children met our group outside and played together in the culdesac each evening which really made my heart happy. We enjoyed that it was walking distance to FloraBama and its restaurants. Would be nice to be able to access the beach without having to go through the bar so you could bring a cooler. The house was a great size and full of space for the kids to play separately from the adults. My two big cons would be that you definitely can not fit four cars in the driveway and that there are no locks on the doors. Would definitely be willing to stay again!

No Privacy inside house

The house and location were overall great, however, not one door inside the house has a lock on it, including all bathrooms. We had two families sharing the house and only one of the bathrooms is not shared. This made for several uncomfortable moments for several people staying in the house. Also there is some difficulty getting to the beach if you have a cooler.
