Perfect Winter Beach Getaway

The 3 king bedrooms with attached bathrooms made us each feel pampered on our mother and grown daughters trip. We appreciate all the bakeware, cookware, and utensils! Sunrise and sunset were both visible from the spacious balcony. Weekend stay was just before Christmas and beach was almost deserted, we loved our stay!

Quite and relaxing

Beautiful view of beach, wrap around corner balcony. Great glider chairs and table on balcony. Well appointed! Kitchen fully stocked! Very clean! Love jetted tub. 3 comfy king beds all with private bath. Tropical decor is fun. Well done! Recommend!

Sister trip vibes

Awesome time! Each sister had our own king bed and bathroom. Balcony was roomy and great outdoor furniture. The walk out to beach was short and convenient!

Great place.

Loved the layout of the whole complex. Pool was on 3rd floor which means you can see and hear the ocean without the sand or the extra cost of chairs, if you didn’t bring your own. House has EVERYTHING and more to make dinners. Every room had its own bathroom so convenient.

Beautiful and comfortable

We had a great stay in this spacious end unit with incredible views of the sunrise from the primary bedroom. Kitchen is filled with all the cookware, glassware, servingware and small appliances you could ever need. Beds were so comfy!

We were pleased with Windmere. The property was clean and well maintained. The view was beautiful. The beach was perfect. The only suggestions we have is there’s not enough overhead lighting in 601.

Lovely condo

First I absolutely love the bedroom wall color. I want to paint mine that color now. 🙂. The condo was exactly as pictured. I appreciated the homey vibe and the heavy sturdy furnishings. Also so glad there was a real wooden dining table instead of the glass table tops so many others have. With a 3 year old present that was actually one thing I was looking at in deciding which condo to rent. Just a note on the parking garage; while the inside parking was perfect and a bonus, the ramp up to it is very narrow and curved. They did say that large trucks and large suvs would be a tight squeeze but really I can’t see how they would fit at all. Toyota minivan fit but it was close. Anything bigger and you’ll need nerves of steel to get to the 2nd floor parking. The beach was perfect. A slight grade down to the water instead of having to drop down a small rise. Boardwalk would have been better if it didn’t have stairs. Difficult to get wagon/cart loaded with the days supplies and small kids up and down the stairs. Overall enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable. Would recommend.

Always sad to go home.

This was our second time staying at the Windemere room 601 3bd 3ba and from the time your open the door to taking it all in, the feeling of being at home never leaves you. The cleanliness to the cabinet s being stocked with everything imaginable to make meals just like home is a bit overwhelming. It's quiet and very comfortable in the rooms. And the sight looking off the balcony is just breathtaking taking. VACASA is a premier rental business that will cover all your needs and questions. Like the title says, always sad to go home. Great View

This condo is well worth the price. The location is great. There is a pizza restaurant across the street that is delicious and they have daquiris to-go. The beach and pool are easy access and both are very nice. The room itself is a little outdated but it was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the AC was kicking! We had some issues with wi-fi but that's not the biggest deal to me. The kitchen is well stocked stocked. There is no salt, pepper or spices so bring your own if you cook. Be aware of the parking deck. The parking is quite tight and a large SUV, truck or roof cargo will not fit. There is parking not in the deck and across the street if needed. The patio looking over the ocean was my favorite place to hang out. Great view and you can have coffee and relax. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful condo on the waterfront

The condo was everything that was described in the initial post. Beautiful and everything was in good shape. The patio is very enjoyable and accessible from the living room or the master bedroom, which was very nice. The bed in the master suite was very comfortable.

Great!

We loved the condo. We had plenty of room. Great location, and very quite. We truly enjoyed our stay! The only thing that we had an issue with is, it needed more lighting. No overhead lights in the living room, and bedrooms, just lamps, so it was very dark. Other than that, it was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Condo for 3 Couples

This condo is very nice. We loved the location. The living room seemed spacious. The 3 bedrooms with kings size beds in each is super for 3 couples. We each had our own bathroom. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is because the beds in the 2 guest bedrooms we very uncomfortable. The mattresses have springs in them, very outdated. All 4 Of us that slept in the guest bedrooms complained. Please please change the mattresses so we can choose to stay here next year. Suggestion: add hot pads in kitchen, there were none. Thank you!

Much more good than bad.

Parking access and location is perfect! 2 spaces close to the elevator. Plenty of carts. Short walk to the beach from the exit of building. Fewer condos mean fewer people on the beach, another plus. The condo is as described--3 BR all with king bed and 3 bath. Master bed is comfy, the other 2 not so much. Kitchen is very well stocked with appliances, glassware, dishes and cookware! Beach towels provided by Vacara, nice touch. The patio is nice with enough furniture for all to sit. Plenty of towels, except no hand towels?? All rooms feel cramped with so many pieces of furniture in every room. Could use a deep dusting of all the furniture. Unable to find extra garbage bags, but we may have missed them in the bottom of the empty trash can? The condo is very nice and it worked great for our girls' weekend getaway. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Roach Infested.

ROACH MOTEL! I do not normally write reviews but this was excessive. If we could have left, we would have... too bad I had already spent $1400 on this place. Upon arriving, the unit is beautiful and accommodating for a 6 person family. However, as soon as we started moving around in the kitchen it became apparent this unit is INFESTED with roaches. We killed nearly 150 roaches everyday and was told by Vacasa (the people actually renting this place) that it was a “florida thing”. I’ve lived in Florida for 6 years, I never once lived in such a disgusting place. I called to report the issue, it took two full days for someone to finally contact me. The only offer I received for having to kill roaches all morning, was a refunded cleaning fee. How about my entire expense to stay here? Plus my new expense to make sure these things don’t hitchhike home with me???!

Review of Windemere unit 601

We have been coming to Perdido Key for over 10 years, and have enjoyed our stay in over 10 different condos that are well maintained and kept up. The pool area was not cleaned up during the day so became trashy. The water was murky and turned hair green. We chose this unit for the 3 king beds. The beds were uncomfortable and old, and the bed sheets were not fresh, they were old and had piling on them. The bathroom and the bedroom in the north/east corner of the condo was dark and dank, and there was never enough air conditioned air circulating through this part of the unit. The ceiling fan in this bedroom was broken-it needed to be replaced. We contacted Vacasa, who were not able to get authorization to replace the fan while we were there. We wound up buying our own box fan to try to cool down the bedroom to no avail, since we were only blowing around hot air. The next issue was that the entire air conditioning system quit working on Wednesday, and stayed not working until Friday dinnertime of the week we were there. Additionally the air conditioning system was only partially working from the day we arrived. The east side of the condo never cooled off properly. This made it impossible to sleep. The maintenance people eluded to us that they had been to this unit before to work on the A/C unit. Because of the lack of circulation in the condo, we all contracted respiratory illnesses of different degrees, from a 97 year old man down to a 10 month old baby. The point of this complaint is that we strongly think we are owed back a refund for several of the nights we stayed in this unit. You can also reimburse us for the $40.00 we spent on the box fan.

Beach view & corner unit - great! One of the cleanest units we've ever stayed. Decor-tasteful, kitchen adequately stocked. Oven/stove temp likely off; lower temp than shown. Pool, ice machine & guest restrooms were closed & we weren't told this prior to reserving, & biggest draw for renting was the parking that was included in cost & was excited to be given a reserved spot, however, the deck was closed & we had to park across the busy street. If someone had mobility issues, this was most likely problematic. Would stay here again, but for this stay I believe we were misled.
