"We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. The surrounding landscape is great.Another option for preparing coffe other then the pad machine would've been a nice addition (filter holder or french press?).There was a bit of a fowl smell every time we came in, and we weren't able to locate it or get rid of it. "Small but almost everything there. A few issues - a broken toilet seat which would have been obvious to the cleaner before we came, so not sure how long it's been broken, a very wobbly broken tap in the bathroom too. No bin bags in the bins, and the bathroom bin had no insert so the rubbish would have just gone on the floor, so again cleaner issues presumably. "The person that checked us in was very welcoming, we were given a bottle of wine as we chose the eco option due to staying two nights. The foyer, lifts and corridor to our room were clean, clutter free and well decorated. Our room was spacious, clean and very welcoming, the bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Everything in the bathroom was immaculate and the hand soap etc was great quality. We had a great nights sleep, the room was a great temperature and the curtains kept the streetlight out. We went to the bar both nights and the staff there were also great, the choice and quality of the drinks were great too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Very poor. Heating not working phone broken, room very cold.Given a very small oil heater not much use at all. Requested blankets twice! Had to go to reception! Eventually povided an extra duvet. Staff surly and did not seem to care at all. No offer of any compensation for a terrible night in this place."
