Very comfortable lodge

This is a really great place to stay, very comfortable and clean and close to everything you need. The best thing about it is the front terrace and the views, very relaxing place to sit early morning and evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the lodge is very well located for exploring the local area and provides clean and comfortable accommodation which is a joy to return to, whether relaxing on one of the two outside decked spaces or inside in the comfy living areas. The lodge is very well equipped, the views good from its elevated position and the hosts very welcoming and helpful - thoroughly recommended!

2019 summer hols

The place is superbly set with lovely views in a very quiet but well located area with easy access to everything. Mandy was lovely and met us as we arrived to make sure we had all we needed. The lodge was very clean an a perfect size for our family of 5 and we had a thoroughly lovely holiday.

Peaceful place to stay

Great property: clean, quiet location, nice views. Well equipped: hairdryer, an iron, kitchen has everything you'd need, games, books etc. Helpful and communicative host. We experienced no issues at all.

Lovely, spacious chalet, with sea view.

Really nice chalet, in a secluded position with a lovely view of the sea in the distance. Property was very welcoming, and Mandy the owner came to meet me. The property was well equipped with a lovely big shower, and comfortable beds in spacious rooms. My children enjoyed the selection of board games. Very peaceful, and wish we had been staying longer. We would stay here again.

Location Location and friendly host’s close by.

Very nicely equipped and a great location. Relaxing in the country but a few minutes drive from the town. The host’s are very friendly and are very accommodating . We would highly recommend this lodge as a home base for visiting Western Cornwall. As a bonus there are very friendly chickens close by that May provide blue shell eggs quite tasty. We should have booked a longer stay. Next time?

Just what we all needed

Sense of being with nature listening to owls outside at night. Wonderful view of the sea in the day and stars at night from the deck. Lots of privacy and space yet 10 minutes from the sea and shops if needed. Plenty of space very clean all we needed was there. Great location to our favourite beaches. Wonderful hosts Mandy and Ronnie we will be back Thank You xx

Alles Bestens

Ein sehr hübsches Ferienhaus. Es ist alles, wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Anfahrt wird von den Vermietern sehr gut beschrieben. Die letzten 100 Meter sind etwas steil und schmal. Es war jedoch nie ein Problem. Bei der Ankunft waren sogar frische Blumen und eine Flasche Cider auf dem Tisch. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett. Sollten wir wieder einmal in der Gegend Urlaub machen, werden wir das Haus bestimmt wieder buchen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besten Dank!

Lodge inmitten von Natur mit tollem Blick aufs Meer

Die Lodge ist bestimmt schöner als viele Wohnungen von Familien. Aus Holz, großzügig, gemütlich, sonnendurchflutet. Jeder Blick aus einem Fenster ist schön, entweder aufs Meer oder ins Grüne. Balkone vorne und hinten, in der Küche viel Platz für Vorräte, wobei sie super ausgestattet ist. Die Dusche ist groß, die Wassertemperatur ist regulierbar. Es gibt viel Spielzeug und viele Gesellschaftsspiele, unsere Sachen haben wir gar nicht erst ausgepackt. Echt toll! Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt! DANKE

A wonderful getaway

We had an amazing time at the lodge, it was the perfect getaway. Mandy is the perfect host, she really thought of absolutely everything. The directions were spot on, the lodge was cosy and warm, there were all sorts of books, games and entertainment. We loved it! If you want to stay anywhere near Penzance, then stay here!

This lodge is spacious and very well equipped. A short drive to many popular places of interest. There is a sea view to the front. Only downside is driving is more or less a necessity.

Loved the views and tranqulity of the lodge, that comes at the price of being a little further out at the end of a bumpy track. Would have preferred the main bathroom window to have been at least half obscured. If the lodge had a hot tub it would be perfect!

Charmantes Ferienhäuschen

Wunderschön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit äußerst guter Ausstattung. Sehr schöne Lage etwas außerhalb im Grünen, mit kleinem Gartenanteil und Blick aufs Meer von der Terrasse. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert

Lovely location to enjoy Cornwall

We stayed at Helnoweth Lodge for 9 nights with our two children - the toys and games were a lovely touch. It’s a wonderful location from which to explore Cornwall and we have missed the wonderful sea views - and the peacefulness!

Perfect place in Penzance!

Quiet and private. Spotlessly clean. Everything worked and it was warm with comfy beds. Mandy was the perfect host, even walking out in the rain to find us when our GPS let us down and we couldn’t negotiate the last 200m to the driveway. Would definitely stay here again.
