"The property was very clean and the staff friendly. We did have a few issues with a television set with no volume control and kept turning itself off. Their free breakfast is a breakfast box choice delivered to your room. The desired breakfast is marked on a card and turned in at the front desk the night before. One morning we never received breakfast. The main complaint that I have is our reservation was made through Expedia and we paid for a room with a view, but we were not given a room with a view, unless you call a view of the parking lot a view."

"The staff was always nice and quick to say hello. The property is beautiful and inviting. The room was clean and updated. You'll find anything you want in the building as well, whether it be electric bike rentals, clothing, or multiple food/drink options."

"The room was fine and despite some noisy wedding revelers we enjoyed our stay. The Keurig did not work We told the front desk on our way out for the day and said there was no rush (because we wouldn't be there, etc). They said thanks for bringing it to our attention. We left 3 days later and the k\Keurig was not replaced nor any follow-up on their part. Probably our fault for not being more insistent? Beautiful location across from one of the Traverse bays."

"This cabin was clean, and completely as described, very welcoming! Communication was excellent, our host had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. Very comfortable, quiet and peaceful with beautiful woods for walks with our dog. Wonderful local small towns to visit, that were also very welcoming. A beautiful way to spend our 42 anniversary."

"We loved our stay! This is a beautiful spot on Elk Lake with lots of lake frontage and wonderful shoreline for play/swim in the water. The cabin is cute and reminds me of the cabin I grew up in on the other side of the lake. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the burners on the stove don’t all work well and there was some dust/dirt that could have been eliminated in corners, etc. Overall, we loved it and would love to return!"
