"Check in begins @3pm, we arrive around 11 maybe 12 ish... Which was okay because we went across the street to the casino. room #216. bathroom door wouldn't close completely. refrigerator kept rocking. We noticed the support it was sitting on was dry rot. *Sunday morning we didn't request housekeeping, only clean towels and wash cloths. This was @ 9:30am. We were told that the towels were beginning was washed and would be placed in our room, once they were ready. 6pm still no towels, we had to go get them our selves from the front desk. Check out day- we loaded all luggage on a cot to pack up. As we walked pass the front desk, clerk asked ...are you all checking out? No we're packing up, then we'll eat breakfast before we check out. After breakfast we returned to the room, to do the usual. Check to be sure that we have everything and to use the bathroom. Well to our surprise housekeeping had already stripped the room. This was around 9:30-10:00 but check out isn't until 12pm and we hadn't checked out through the front desk.On the other hand...The area is very nice and pleasant. It's surrounded by a great variety of restaurants. Across the street for the casino. There is also a pond behind the hotel with a sidewalk around it (great view). Overall, we would stay again. It's a great spot for couples, family and/or business or pleasure trip. It's a 7/10 for us."

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we were very impressed! The pool that changes colors at night was clean and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. Not only is it rare to find a place to stay with two dogs free of separate charge, but there were plenty of places to walk them and there were doggy stations. At an extraordinary rate, we can’t believe how great our stay here was. Thank you!"

"Overall well maintained property. Disappointed that there wasn't a whirlpool per advertisement, unless I didn't read it correctly. Disappointed that I had to pay a cleaning fee and walked in to dead bugs on the floor, behind the nighstand which was noticed upon plugging up my charger, crushed bug in the cabinets. I appreciated the generous efforts to provide snacks but out of ten bags of chips only 3 were not expired. Although the house is dated with wicker furniture from an earlier era it is decently maintained. The yard is immaculate and would be greatly appreciated by anyone with little kids. Internet service was outstanding. Anyone considering this property won't be disappointed unless they are looking for the whirlpool. A Dollar General is conveniently located right around the corner."

"The cottage had all the convenient of home. Loved the claw foot soaker tub. We had to leave earlier than we had planned but was still a good trip."
