"Requested a room near elevator because I am oxygen dependent. Room was the farthest room from elevator. Making reservation for room was terrible had to repeat everything three or four times. Was ready to just forget it. Needs to be made much easier never had a problem before. This one was a disaster "

"The employees are nice and helpful. The hotel overall is clean. The type of people in the area and staying there are questionable. Someone was smoking weed on the 2nd floor and the entire hallway and into the room reeked of weed. One night I could hear someone around me loudly arguing. There seem to be vagrants in the area and some of them appear to live at the hotel"

"Original room we had booked became unavailable due to an issue at the hotel. We were upgraded for free to a suite. The suite was clean. Great breakfast options such as waffles, eggs, Canadian bacon, toast with jelly, whole oranges, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, milk, etc. I only had two issues with the suite. First, you had to put one of the key card in the slot by the door to operate the lights in the suite. That can be a possible safety issue if someone tries to follow you for force their way into the room, they can easily snatch your key card. Luckily that did not happen to me and my cousin. Second, the shower head was on the same side as the sliding door to open into the shower. This cause some water to get onto the floor while opening the shower door. Had to use the extra towels to soak up the water. I also was hoping that the pool was open during the weekend mornings as posted on the signs by the pool area. Pool was unexpectedly closed in the mornings for deep cleaning due to heavy use by guests the previous nights."

"Casino allows smoking so hotel reeks of smoke, housekeeping had to be requested but then doesn’t always come or dumps towels inside door. Construction noise without warning from 645am drilling and hammering as they are turning some bedrooms into offices. Food in restaurants terrible and all steaks dropped on floor and waited 2 hours for food. Air con noisy and not services. Ice machine broken on my floor. Seriously avoid at all Costs. There are no redeeming features at all. It’s tired, and sad and the manager non responsive."

"The property was very clean,staff was friendly, l only had one problem and that was because the room i got was beside the elevator I couldn't sleep all night, but a very nice young lady got me sorted out in the morning by giving me a better room. Thanks again I appreciate. Sorry I forgot her name but I'll always stay at an Holiday in."

"Loved the Continental breakfast and the room and amenities are spectacular. I must give special mention to Sandra, at the Front Desk. What a lovely woman. Always with a smile and friendly word. She is a true Gem to your hotel. Keep smiling my Island sister!"
