Its remote location along with a lake front on property was awesome. The fact that they had kayaks/canoes for guests to use was such a pleasant surprise. “Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. Yet, you’re only a few miles from the town.The swimming on the other side of the dock is a nice Sandy bottom and easy for people and dogs. The house is well equipped for the kitchen and the living room is big, comfortable, and has great view of the lake. The side deck was the star! We took long drives along the coast and Gardner……

“I’ve stayed in many Vrbos/AirB’s all around the world. This rental made it to my top 3 list, simply because it has everything you could ever want. It’s truly a hidden gem and thats great for anyone who already knows about the charm that Lubec has. The home itself was extremely clean. The kayaks were easy to use, and you can’t beat the view of the sunrise every morning out the windows. Especially if you sleep upstairs in the loft like we did.
